Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2326

Nathan shot him a subtle smile. “Oh! Do you mean to say that we should thank you for that?”

Narrowing his groggy eyes, Jordy beckoned Nathan over contemptuously. “So you were the one who killed my friend, Daichi, weren't you? If you come to me by yourself, I might consider letting you meet your end without going through horrible endurance.”

Nathan smiled slyly. “Hmph! You're not worthy enough to have my energy wasted on such a drunk glutton like you! Anyone can help to take him down for me?”

Colin stood forward instantaneously and uttered solemnly, “Mr. Cross, let me teach this drunk glutton a lesson on behalf of you.”

Jordy used to be known as Booze Barrell, but nobody dared to call him that right after he gained fame in the underworld. Since then, the others had been respectfully addressing him as God of Booze. Not to mention, he hated the most when others called him Booze Barrell.

Nathan and Cohn calling him a drunk glutton irked him even more than that.

In a fit of rage, a hint of frigidness flickered in Jordy's eyes as he hissed, “You obviously have a death wish! I'll grant it now!”

The next moment, he transformed into a swirling black figure and darted toward Colin at a mind-boggling speed.

Nonetheless, Colin stood in a striking stance without the slightest bit of fear on his face.

When Jordy lifted his hand to throw a massive punch toward him, he retaliated against the former with an explosive punch too. After all, that was his favorite way of fighting against his foe.

Crash'.

The massive collision of their punches resulted in an ear-splitting sound.

Jordy staggered a few steps backward uncontrollably.

Miraculously, Colin stood still, steady as ever.

Meanwhile, Jordy's subordinates were flabbergasted. Huh? Are we seeing things? How is it possible for our unrivaled God of Booze to be overpowered by a Eurasian?

On the other hand, the hint of drunkenness in Jordy's eyes was prevailed by an instant solemnity.

It was as though his fighting spirit was boosted significantly within seconds. Exhilarated, he yelled out, “What an exciting fight! It's been ages since I last came face to face with such a mighty opponent like you! Let’s fight to our hearts' content today! Again!”

His bellow of rage sounded like a deafening roar from a ferocious beast. The next second, he pounced toward Colin again at an even faster speed, emanating even more petrifying force!

Without hesitation, Colin charged toward him again. Seconds later, the duo was engaged in another round of intense battle.

Meanwhile, his subordinates got all worked up and bellowed, “Kill them! Kill all these Eurasians!”

The next moment, all of them pulled out their katanas, charging toward Nathan and the others. At that moment, it was as though they were a pack of wolves pouncing on their prey.

At the sight of a panic-stricken Penny, Nathan held her hand affectionately and reassured her, “Don’t worry. Everything will be fine.”

At the same time, Ava and Tim also made a move by matching Colin's tempo and charged toward Jordy's group of underlings.

In a split second, an intense battle unfolded.

Colin, Ava, and Tim were top-ranked warriors. Even though Jordy's subordinates outnumbered them, they were no match to the few unrivaled warriors' formidability. After a while, they were badly defeated and lying in ghastly pools of blood.

Jordy was still alive, but he was weak as a kitten. Glaring at Nathan and the others with flaring eyes, he mustered up his strength to warn them, “Don't feel smug. The Yori Corporation won't let you off! Mr. Yori will surely seek you out for payback!”

Nathan smiled casually. “You don’t have to worry about that. We're heading toward Tiger Hall to settle the score with Matsuo Yori now!”

What? Jordy was dumbstruck and only regained his composure after quite a while. Wearing a look of inexplicit complex emotions, he replied earnestly, “No doubt you're shooting yourself in the foot. But I'm in awe of your courage.”
