Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2324

At Tiger Hall of the Yori Corporation, the hall looked exquisite with the incorporation of the construction style of Eurasia in the design. There was a huge painting of a white tiger going down the mountain on the wall in the relatively spacious hall.

Devoid of expression and dressed in black, Matsuo was seated on the couch right below the huge painting. There were quite a number of bodyguards standing by their actions alongside him.

At the moment, Shigo, his right-hand man, was standing respectfully in front of him.

“Is Nathan Cross really that powerful to the point that he wiped out Daichi and the Five Phantoms?” Matsuo asked in disbelief, with a sense of grimness written all over his face.

Shigo gulped and replied warily, “Yeah! Based on my findings, he was the former Commander-in-Chief of the North Army of Eurasia before his retirement and is known as the God of War. He's currently accompanying Penny Smith, his wife, to attend the prize-giving ceremony for the World Peace Prize in Jetroina.”

Matsuo sniggered. “He's the God of

War in the military of Eurasia? No wonder he has unrivaled combat prowess! Ha! Regardless of how formidable he is, I'm in control of everything when he steps into my turf!”

Apparently, Matsuo gave no hoots to the unrivaled God of War.

Earlier on, there used to be a Jetroinian who was also known as the God of War in the military. However, he tended to get on the nerves of the Yori Corporation after his retirement.

Subsequently, the so-called mighty God of War, known for his formidability on the battlefield, met his end piteously. One rainy night, he was stabbed to death by a few hooligans in a secluded alleyway after stepping out of the bar drunk. Sadly, his lifeless body was only discovered by the others the following day.

Therefore, Matsuo paid no heed to the so-called God of War in the military. Undeniably, bare fists were still non-comparable to deadly weapons, and unrivaled warriors were not immortal.

Matsuo asked again, “Where is Nathan now?”

Shigo was stunned. As far as he knew, Tim was known to be as stubborn as a mule. It never occurred to him that Tim would make up his mind to sell off his properties and prepare to flee with just a warning from Matsuo.

“Mr. Yori, nobody in Jetroina has the audacity to get on your nerves. There might still be a way out for them if they provoke the king. But they will only end up meeting their end if they dare to step on your toes. I bet Tim has a clear insight on this too. That's why he has no choice but to sell off his properties and prepare to run back to Eurasia!” Shigo tried to butter him up.

Hearing that, Matsuo laughed smugly.

Narrowing his eyes, he smirked. “Since the fellow followed my instruction obediently, I'll let him off the hook this time and allow him to be back in Eurasia again. But I can't let Nathan Cross and the others off! They can never flee and be back in Eurasia again. I want them to stay here forever!”

“Mr. Yori, don't worry. I've just instructed all our subordinates of lower ranks from the Yori Corporation to go after him and take him down. I'm sure there will be great news from them soon,” Shigo reassured Matsuo with a smile.
