Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2302

Back in the underground fighting ring, Nathan and the others were waiting patiently when someone cheered loudly, “Mr. Fujiwara is back!”

Tetsuo and his subordinates walked in soon after.

Nathan and the others easily spotted the burly, menacing-looking monk walking in next to Tetsuo.

Tall and incredibly sinister-looking, he peered down on everyone with narrowed, fierce eyes. He was obviously a good fighter.

Nathan was a little surprised and said mildly, “Jetroina may be small, but they have quite a lot of hidden talents too. I'm pretty surprised to see so many strong fighters at such a small backroom boxing event.”

Nathan could immediately tell that this monk was in no way weaker than both Colin and Ava.

Tim was rather surprised at the sight of the monk and said softly, “Mr. Cross, this monk's name is Zenshi Sorateru. He is both greedy and a nymph, but he's the number one fighter in Jazona. He is admittedly very skilled.” Ava and Colin narrowed their eyes. Both of them were starting to get competitive and wanted to try their hand against him.

“Sorry for making you wait, Mr. Cross!”

Tetsuo was full of life once again and he seemed positively radiant. Even his tone was much stronger and more confident.

It was as if he was already sure that he would win.

Nathan chuckled. “You seemed happy. I assume you've already found your top fighter?”

Tetsuo replied gleefully, “That's right! I invited Zenshi Sorateru to fight on my side. Have you found a fighter to your taste yet?”

Ava, Colin, and Tim looked at him patiently. They knew Sorateru was powerful, but they also wanted to try their hand against him. After all, it was a great feeling to beat someone who was on the same level as you, as it meant significant improvement.

However, Nathan didn't look at any of them.

He knew that Colin and the others were only on the same level as Sorateru at best and didn't think it was logical to put them in imminent danger.

Sorateru was clearly starting to get riled up.

An invisible aura of murder began to radiate from him and slowly took over the whole room. It almost seemed as if the actual temperature had begun to drop as well.

The audience began to feel as if they had suddenly entered a freezer and that their hands and feet had solidified into ice blocks. All of them stared at Sorateru in fear.

He stared at Nathan. “No one has ever spoken to me in that way. I'd make sure that you wish you were dead instead."

Nathan could not be bothered to answer.

He walked into the boxing ring, his demeanor calm and languid while his speed was incomparable, and in the blink of an eye, he was already in the middle.

With a raise of his arm, he announced, “Let's fight.”
