Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2279

“Everyone, freeze! We'll shoot at anything that moves!”

As soon as Colin gave out the order, the soldiers behind him quickly got into position with their sub-machine guns in hand and completely surrounded Kristoff, Bowen, as well as the people from the Gates of Hell.

Kristoff and Bowen’s expressions darkened since they did not expect the Eurasia military would get involved.

Meanwhile, the men from the Gates of Hell were still in shock from the death of Hades.

If it were back then, they would have disregarded the fact that they were surrounded and did everything in their power to break through and escape.

However, Nathan killing Hades was a massive blow to their spirit and had planted the image of Nathan being an omnipotent god deep in their heads.

With said god standing in front of them, no one had the guts to fight on.

Soon, Colin had everything under control, and the people from the Gates of Hell were all apprehended.

When the soldiers got to Kristoff and Bowen, Bowen could not help but shout, “I’m a citizen of Eagleland! The queen herself bestowed the title of Viscount to me! I’m not Eurasian, so you Eurasian soldiers don't have the right to arrest me!”

Hearing that, Kristoff also said, “I'm from Ariarica. I have diplomatic immunity! Can you even arrest me?”

As soon as he finished, Colin appeared before Kristoff and gave him a slap on the face.

Slap!

The slap echoed throughout the room and Kristoff was sent flying to the floor.

One slap was all it took to leave him with a swollen face, a mouthful of blood, as well as a few missing teeth.

Seeing what happened, Bowen immediately stopped talking.

At the same time, Nathan walked over casually.

“I've warned you guys before, didn't I?” he said, looking at Kristoff and Bowen with a cold gaze. “But not only did you not listen, you took things up a notch. This is Eurasia. If you cause trouble, you get punished. I don't care where you're from. Your country can't save you.”

Kristoff and Bowen were both shocked and furious after hearing that, but they dared not make a sound.

“Take them away and hand them to the authorities,” Nathan waved his hand and ordered.

The same went for Kristoff.

However, things did not actually go the way he thought they would.

It was the weekend the next day.

Nathan was enjoying lunch with his family when Colin suddenly appeared and requested to see him.

Nathan knew something was wrong the moment he saw Colin's expression, so he placed his utensils down calmly and said to Colin, “Let's talk in my study.”

The two entered the study.

“Bad news, Mr. Cross,” Colin said immediately.

Nathan furrowed his brow. “What happened?”

“We dropped Bowen and Kristoff in the detention center thinking that we'd go through the judicial process and wait for the court to pass judgment on them before putting them in jail. But the detention center released them yesterday at midnight. On top of that, they both left the country immediately after.”
