Easton laughed mirthlessly. “Everyone keeps talking about your arrogance, and I thought it was just a rumor, but now I see the rumors have downplayed your cockiness. And today, you shall pay for that.”
Nathan smiled. “I'm going to attack now. This is the first blow.”
Easton smacked his cheek and was about to taunt Nathan, but before he could say anything, Nathan disappeared before his very eyes, but the next moment, he reappeared right in front of Easton.
What? What the heck is that? That kind of speed is inhuman! I couldn't even catch his movement!
Easton was still immersed in his shock. Before he could even snap out of it, he noticed a silhouette quickly getting closer to him. It was none other than Nathan's first slap, and it landed firmly on Easton's cheek.
Easton had been training his body since he was a child, and he had worked hard in the military. Thanks to that, his body was as hard as steel, but even so, Nathan's slap made him retreat a few steps back. His left cheek started to swell up quickly, and blood trickled down the corners of his lips.
The crowd gasped in shock. Even Easton's men and his bodyguards were stunned by the outcome. Master Easton actually got slapped. And Nathan's the one who did it.
Easton wiped the blood off his mouth. “I'm taking you down!” he growled in rage, then he pounced at Nathan, not unlike a panther pouncing at its prey.
However, before he could even come close to Nathan, he heard Nathan announcing coldly, “And this is the second blow.”
Once again, Nathan's slap found its target, and Easton took it squarely in the face.
This time, the slap was more intense, and the power behind it made Easton spin a few times before he came to a stop.
The third and final slap was even more powerful than the first two slaps. The impact caused Easton to cough up blood and teeth, then he flew backward and fell with a dull thud. This time, he lay on the ground, unmoving.
A dead silence fell upon the scene. Not a soul was stirring, not until they received their cue to do so.
Easton's men and bodyguards snapped out first, and they went over to their master in a hurry. “Master Easton, wake up!” They surrounded their defeated master. “Are you alright, Master Easton?”
Nathan told them icily, “Take your trashy master to the hospital and get him checked. If you're late, he's going to suffer some permanent injuries. And tell him to never try to fight again. If there's a next time, he won't escape that easily.”
Easton's men had mixed feelings about the matter. They wanted to avenge Easton, but they knew it was imperative to save their master, so they propped Easton up and left with their tails between their legs.
