THE MAFIA KING BROKEN ROSE novel Chapter 20

Chapter 20

Aria’s POV

Dominic stepped away, his body leaving mine, and I felt the loss immediately. My limbs were limp, my breath still uneven, my body still thrumming from the aftermath of everything he had just done to me.

He stood at the edge of the bed, looking down at me with a smirk, his sharp jawline still tense, his eyes dark with satisfaction. He ran a hand through his tousled hair, exhaling slowly, then tilted his head, his gaze trailing over me, sprawled and ruined beneath him.

Look at you,he murmured, amused. All hot and bothered for me. It’snice.

I swallowed, still too dazed to form a response, my wrists aching slightly from the restraints. My body was exhausted. boneless, every nerve overstimulated and raw,

I didn’t have the strength to move, didn’t even want to. The sheets were warm, my skin still sensitive from his hands, his mouth, his cock.

But then, of course, Dominic ruined it.

“I have an event tonight.

I blinked, my mind sluggish, trying to process his words.

He grabbed his discarded shirt from the chair, slipping it on, rolling up the sleeves as he continued. You’ll be coming with

me

I frowned, finally finding my voice. What?

He looked at me like I was slow. An event, Aria. A very important one. You’ll be on my arm. You’ll look stunning You’ll behave.

I let out a low groan, my body too spent to argue. You’re kidding, right?

Dominic arched a brow. Do I look like I’m joking?

I glared at him, shifting slightly, wincing at the soreness between my thighs. I can’t even move, Dominic

He smirked, stepping forward, brushing a finger along my swollen lips. That’s because you’ve been thoroughly fucked. His voice dipped lower, teasing, wicked. But you’ll get up. You’ll shower. You’ll be ready in an hour

I scoffed. You’re insane.”

Dominic grabbed my chin, tilting my head up so I had no choice but to meet his gaze. His fingers were firm, but not cruel His eyes flickered, amusement shifting into something sharper. You will be ready in an hour, gattina,” he murmured. And! dare you to disobey me.

A chill ran down my spine,

I knew that tone.

It was a warning.

And I might have been stubborn, but I wasn’t stupid.

I swallowed hard, my throat dry. Fine,” I muttered.

Dominic smiled, satisfied. He released me and stepped back, adjusting his cufflinks like we hadn’t just fucked each other into exhaustion. Good girl.

Then he turned toward the door, pausing only once to glance over his shoulder. Be ready,he repeated, his voice smooth, controlled.

Then he was gone.

I exhaled shakily, my body still too drained to move.

A shower. An event. In an hour.

Fucking hell.

I was already exhausted..

But I had no choice:

Because I knew one thing for certain.

Disobeying Dominic Sinclair was not an option.

The shower helped, but only just. My body still ached, the bruises of his hands and mouth marking me in places only he

would see. My legs were weak as I stepped out, steam curling around me, the warm water doing little to wash away the lingering heat he had left behind

I had barely wrapped a towel around myself when the maids entered, silent as always, moving around me like I want even there. They never spoke to me. Never made eye contact Just did what they were told

I watched as they moved to the closet, bringing out a dress, laying it carefully across the bed My stomach twisted

The dress was black. Deep, dark, sinful black. The fabric was sleek, silky, made to cling in all the right places. Thin strips a plunging neckline that promised to reveal more than it should, a slit running high up one thigh. It was the kind of dress designed to make a statement.

And I already knew whose statement it was

I gritted my teeth, swallowing my irritation as the maids moved to lay out heels, a delicate diamond necklace, and a

matching bracelet. Dominic had chosen everything. As if I was his doll to dress up to parade around at his side like belonged to him.

And didn’t I?

I exhaled sharply, shaking off the thought. No. Not really.

The maids left without a word, as silent as they had come.

A few minutes later, there was another knock, but this time, Rosa stepped in.

I liked Rosa

She was older, maybe in her early fifties, with dark hair streaked with silver and warm, intelligent eyes. she at least acknowledged me.

Unlike the others,

She took one look at me, wrapped in my towel, my damp hair falling in loose waves around my shoulders, and sighed. You look exhausted

I smirked tiredly. Your boss has a habit of wearing people out.

Rosa made a noise of agreement, but there was something else in her eyes. Sympathy? Amusement? I wasn’t sure.

She glanced at the dress, nodding approvingly. It’s a fundraiser tonight. A private one. Only the elite of the elite Politicians business moguls, other mafia families. The Don wants you there.

I crossed my arms. Why?

Rosa shrugged. I don’t ask questions. I just follow arders.

I sighed. Of course.

She moved to the door but then paused, reaching into the pocket of her apron. Oh, and one more thing.

She held out a small black box

I frowned, hesitating before taking it.

The Don wanted you to put this on, Rosa said smoothly.

I narrowed my eyes, my fingers curling around the box. What is it?

She only smiled, shaking her head. You’ll find out.

And then she was gone.

I stared at the box, suspicion crawling up my spine.

Slowly. I flipped it open.

And my stomach dropped.

Inside, nestled against the velvet, was a small, sleek vibrator,

My throat went dry.

What the hell was this again now?

Heat curled in my stomach, a mixture of anger and something else. Something darker. Something I refused name

And then I saw the note

No panties tonight

I melted:

My entire body went hot, a deep, pulsing ache settling between my thighs at just those three words

That bastard

I wanted to throw the box against the wall. I should have.

Instead, my fingers trembled as I lifted the vibrator, as I imagined exactly how tonight was going to go.

And despite myself.

I wanted it.

My breath was unsteady as I stepped back toward the bed, my knees pressing into the mattress as I sat down. The fabric of my robe slipped off my shoulders, pooling at my waist as I spread my thighs, anticipation coiling low in my stomach.

I swallowed hard, running my fingers along the smooth surface of the vibrator. It was small, discreet, but I knew better than to underestimate it

My heartbeat was loud in my ears as I lifted my hips, my legs trembling slightly as I pushed the tip against my entrance
