Chapter 171
Chapter 171
Aria’s POV
The hum of the jet was steady beneath my feet, the sound soft enough to fade into the background. I leaned back into the plush leather seat, letting my head tip slightly as I sipped the wine Dominic poured for me.
He sat across from me at first, swirling his glass with that unreadable smirk that always made my chest do stupid things. His tie was gone, shirt sleeves rolled up, hair slightly messy like he’d run a hand through it one too many times. He looked relaxed. Dangerous but mine.
“I still can’t believe you let me come,” I said, shifting in mys seat. “You hate mixing me with business.”
Dominic arched a brow. “It’s not business.”
“Oh?” I smiled. “Then what is it?”
He took a slow sip, eyes on me. “It’s yours. Which means you’re allowed.”
I rolled my eyes but couldn’t hide the grin tugging at my lips. “I see.

admit something is mine. You always are so.. arrogant.”
I opened my mouth to protest, but he was already in front of me, hand outstretched. “Come here.”
“What?”
“Come sit on my lap.”
I looked around the jet like someone else might witness it. Ridiculous, considering the only other person on board was the pilot locked in the cockpit.
“You’re insane, sitting on your lap in a jet,” I muttered, setting my glass aside.
“What? Looking for an excuse to stall?”
I let out a dramatic sigh but moved anyway. As I settled onto his lap, he shifted slightly to make space, his arms looping around my waist.
“You’re surprisingly warm,” I said, resting my hand on his chest.
“That’s the wine.”
“That’s your excuse for everything, especially when you don’t want to be checked by the doctor.”
He dipped his head to my neck, brushing his lips along my skin. I twitched when his breath hit a spot just under my ear.
“Let me cum inside you, and that high temperature would disappear in a minute.”
I blushed, smacking his shoulder. “Stop being naughty.”
“I can’t. You are too hot.”
I threw my head back and chuckled. “You know what I’m thinking?” I asked, a little breathless already.
“Mmh,” he hummed against my collarbone. “That you should’ve worn the other red dress?”
I laughed. “That we’re going all the way to some secret vault and I still don’t even know what’s inside.”
Dominic pulled back just enough to look at me. “Does it matter?”

“Of course it does. What if it’s just dusty papers? Or a creepy doll?”
He chuckled, low in his throat. “It won’t be.”
I tilted my head. “What then? Piles of gold bars? Guns? Skeletons?”
He grinned. “Now that would be dramatic.”
I let out a small laugh, but the curiosity lingered. “I wonder what we’ll find.”
He was quiet for a second, his fingers slowly tracing circles against the small of my back. Then he leaned closer again, lips brushing my ear.
“I hope,” he murmured, “it’s something I can burn.”
That made me go still.
“You think someone else has been there?” I asked.
“I think someone will try.”
I pulled back to look at him fully. “You brought me for a reason. It’s not just because I’m ‘allowed.‘ So, what is it?”
He hesitated. Just a beat. “Because if anything goes wrong… I want you where I can see you.”
My chest tightened a little. I didn’t press further. Not now.
Instead, I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned forward until our foreheads touched. “You’re never going to let me go, are you?”
“No,” he said simply. “And I don’t plan to.”
We stayed like that for a while. Quiet. Comfortable. It felt surreal, the idea that we were chasing down a vault left behind by a family I barely remembered -if at all. And yet, here I was, tucked in the lap of the man who once claimed he had no heart.
I pressed a small kiss against his jaw. “Thank you for bringing me.”
“You’re not a souvenir, Aria.”
I smirked. “I know. I’m the key.”
He made a noise at the back of his throat. “Don’t say it like that.“/
“Like what?”
“Like you’re just a tool.” His eyes were unreadable again. “You’re not. Never to me,
I didn’t reply. I didn’t need to.
”
Instead, I leaned forward and kissed him again. He responded immediately, deepening the kiss with a low growl that vibrated through his chest. His hands slipped down to grip my thighs, pulling me tighter against him.
“You’re going to wrinkle my dress,” I muttered against his lips.
“I’ll buy you another.”
He kissed me again–longer this time. His teeth grazed my bottom lip, and I giggled, breathless.
Then, just as I was about to settle back into the moment, he leaned in close and whispered, voice dark and amused-
“Why don’t I take you in an airplane like this?”

I blinked. “What?”
He smirked. “I want to have your scent all over the chair.”
I laughed sharp, surprised, already breathless and tilted my head back just enough to meet his gaze. “You are so-

But I didn’t finish. His mouth was on mine before I could. That same smug mouth, always one step ahead of me, always knowing exactly what it wanted. And right now, it wanted me silenced. It wanted my taste. L
My breath. My control, undone.
The kiss didn’t start soft. It was greedy from the beginning, lips parting mine like they belonged to him tongue sweeping past my teeth with a low, satisfied groan that curled deep in my belly. His hand slid up my back, then down again, finding the zipper of my dress with unhurried intent.
I shifted on his lap, a jolt of friction where our hips met, and I felt it, his thick, hard dick, ready beneath his slacks.
“You’re not even pretending this is about the vault anymore,” I whispered against his mouth.
“I told you.” He pulled back just enough to look at me, voice gravel–soft. “You’re mine. That’s the only mission I care about right now.”
His hands slid over my sides, palms hot, fingertips deliberate. He cupped my breasts through the dress, thumbs brushing slow circles over my nipples until they tightened, the fabric suddenly far too thin. I let out a shaky breath, arms tightening around his shoulders.
“Dominic…”
He kissed the corner of my mouth, then lower, lips dragging along my jaw, down to the line of my throat. When he reached the hollow between my collarbones, he lingered, tongue flicking once, then again, before his teeth grazed my skin.
“You smell like wine and horniness,” he muttered, tugging the dress down just enough to expose the top of my breasts. “Do you even know what that
does to me?”
“No,” I said, breath caught. “But you’re welcome to show me.”
He chuckled, low and dark, and dipped his head again. This time his mouth closed over one nipple, wet heat through the thin lace of my bra.
“Ah…Dom…”
He sucked gently at first, then harder, the suction making my hips rock involuntarily against him. I could feel him twitch through his pants, and I knew he felt it too–he grunted against my skin, one hand splaying wide across my back to hold me in place while the other slipped under the hem of my dress, traveling upward with no hesitation.
I buried my fingers in his hair, tugging slightly, and he made a noise against my chest–half–growl, half–moan–then bit down, just enough to make me
gasp.
“Fuck-”
