Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 363

“What’s wrong with my own father?”

Vincent frowned, shooting Tyrone a warning glare. “I know my dad. He has no beef with you, and Lawson & Co. isn’t afraid of your so-called comeback. He has no reason to want you dead, so don’t go getting any ideas.”

But anxiety had already crept into Vincent’s voice. Tyrone was unpredictable, even reckless at times. If he really lost it, Vincent wasn’t sure he could keep his father safe.

Tyrone just smirked, cigarette dangling from his lips as he waved him off. “If he stays alive, your precious inheritance is as good as gone—handed over to his little bastard. You should think long and hard about that.”

Vincent’s face darkened, but he kept his thoughts to himself.

“Hey, Vincent!” Tyrone called out loudly as he strode to the warehouse door, making sure everyone heard him. “Your brother’s all yours. Try not to kill him, all right? I’m heading home to my wife. Night.” With that, he hopped into his car and drove away.

Vincent stood there, stunned and breathless, his chest tight with frustration.

That lunatic!

Now that Mayfield knew Vincent was behind tonight’s kidnapping, he’d run straight home and whine to Stephen Lawson. That would spell disaster—Vincent would find himself lumped in with Tyrone, an enemy of the family.

He had no choice but to work with Tyrone now.

Clenching his jaw, Vincent cursed under his breath. He wanted to wring Tyrone’s neck, and he kicked the car door so hard he nearly hurt himself. He’d stuck his nose into this mess thinking he could use Tyrone, but it turned out Tyrone was the one using him.

At the warehouse, Tyrone’s goons had already left, not bothering to stick around.

Mayfield was left hanging there, tied up and terrified, struggling against his restraints. “Vincent? Vincent, is that you?”

He knew it was pointless to hide anymore.
