“That’s not right," Sharon said in confusion. "The penetrating vision I see in television dramas only allows them to see through objects and their components. Why are you able to see an object’s history?”

“That’s because my vision is slightly more advanced than those in television dramas.”

After chatting with Sharon and distracting herself, Xyla wasn’t in such a bad mood anymore.

Sharon’s eyes went wide again. “Oh my goodness! Aren’t we lucky to have you in the family? We can get anything we want with your eyes!”

Even if they couldn’t find out where the demon fox lived exactly, Betty would be able to provide some information.

“Xyla, how did you get into trouble with the demon fox?” Sharon asked.

“It’s a long story. It’s related to my past life,” Xyla said.

Sharon seemed confused. “What? How is it related to your past life? Does reincarnation exist in the world? Does karmic debt accumulate in the next life?”
