When Xyla Quest heard this, her heart ached painfully.

“I will make Betty pay for this with her life! It must be her! Ever since she showed up, my father and I were both poisoned. It has to be her!” Xyla shouted.

If Xyla and her children weren’t lucky, they would’ve died with Jeremy Quest.

Betty was a truly evil woman.

“Did they find anything?” Xyla asked.

He shook his head.

Even so, she was still convinced that Betty was the culprit.

She wouldn’t let her off the hook despite the lack of evidence.

Nearby, Sharon Lindt observed them in awe.

She had met Betty before, and she seemed like a kind and gentle woman. How could she do such a heartless thing?
