"Hurry up! Where's the dress for the toast? Where's the toast dress?"
Jenna was frantically searching for the dress Sophie needed to change into when she reached the changing room. A server handed her a white cocktail dress. Without a second thought, Jenna tried to give it to Sophie. The server quickly intervened, "Ms. Jenna! That dress is yours, not the bride's!"
"Mine? Why does the bridesmaid need to change outfits too?"
Sandy rushed over, hearing about the bridesmaid's change of dress, and asked, "Wait, the bridesmaid has another dress? What about mine?"
"I'm sorry, Ms. Sandy, this one is for Ms. Jenna."
Sandy, clearly annoyed, protested, "Why does Jenna get to change, and I don't? I don’t care! I want to change too!"
Seeing Sandy's insistence, the server looked visibly troubled. What to do now? If she couldn't fulfill Mr. Adler's task, her career would be over!
"Change, let's change. Yours is right here with me."
Sophie's sudden interjection felt like divine intervention to the server. Oh, Mrs. Costello is just too kind! Sophie handed the white chiffon dress to Sandy, saying, "Come change with me; this one's a bit tricky to put on."
"Though I usually don't change clothes with others, I'll make an exception today since you're the bride," Sandy conceded as she and Sophie entered the changing room together. Jenna, feeling rather displeased, decided to follow. But the server stopped her again. "Ms. Jenna, the changing room is quite small. Please change over here."
Hearing this, Jenna, despite her frustration, had no choice but to take her bridesmaid dress to the adjacent changing room. "It's strange. Why is my bridesmaid dress different from hers? They were all the same just a moment ago!"
Not only was he not getting drunk, but there was also no sign of alcohol giving him any liquid courage. Determined, Adler turned to a server and said, "Get me a bottle of whiskey, mix it with some soda! That'll get me drunk fast."
"Mr. Adler...you'll get too drunk like that."
"That's the point!"
Otherwise, in front of such a large crowd, even with all his bravery, he wouldn't dare to reveal his feelings to Jenna. If Jenna rejected him, then alongside Colby and Sophie's wedding, his humiliation would be the talk of the town in tomorrow's news! Most importantly, if Jenna rejected him, what would he do then? The more Adler thought about it, the more scared he became.
How did Colby confess his love in the first place?

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
Excellent novel!...
When will you upload the next chapter...
