Rejected by My Werewolf Soulmate I Turned to His Alpha Brother novel Chapter 4

Then I grabbed my bag and left, rushing back to the hospital as fast as I could.

But at the door of the ward, I heard Liam’s dejected voice from inside:

“Brother, you said you’d let me meet my future sister–in–law today”

“Where is she?”

The next second, I gripped the door handle and pushed it open, walking in.

“Aria?” Liam was surprised to see me there. A moment later, he assumed with self–importance: “So you know to come find me. You even dressed up so beautifully just for me?”

I shook my head, my attitude cold: “It’s not for you”

Liam looked me up and down, his eyes showing a hint of amazement:

“Stop pretending. A woman dresses up for the man she likes. If not for me, who did you dress up for?”

“Where did you go last night? But it’s fortunate you didn’t show up.”

Liam made a relieved expression:

“Otherwise, I would have definitely fallen into your hands last night, sis

I couldn’t be bothered to deal with him. Ignoring his confident expression, I walked straight to Declan.

habit of

1 asked him with a bit of coquettishness:

“Do I look good?”

Declan was lying on the hospital bed, his eyes never leaving me since I walked into the room:

“You look beautiful. If you had a pearl necklace, it would complement your skin even more

Declan called the bodyguard at the door:

“Go get the pearl necklace from the second drawer of my desk

The bodyguard asked: “Is it the South Sea white pearl you won at the auction last year? The one you bought for the young master to give to Miss Arla as a birthday gift, but it was never given?”

Declan frowned: “You talk too much.”

The bodyguard grinned and quickly left.

But Liam stopped him:

“Brother, didn’t tell you Aria doesn’t like South Sea pearls at this age?”

I immediately interrupted Liam: “Who says I don’t like them? South Sea pearls are noble and elegant, with a queenly aura. I love them, but they’re just too expensive. I usually can’t afford to buy them.”

Liam really didn’t like me contradicting him. He beckoned to me:

“Come here. Whatever you like, I’ll buy it for you. Don’t be so familiar with my brother.”

But Declan gripped my wrist tightly.

He held on so tight, as if afraid I might slip away from his grasp at any moment.

His tone was even more domineering:

“I’m afraid she can’t go to your side.”

Liam: “?”

Declan ignored the confusion and disbelief in his brother’s eyes, for the first time both competing and snatching:

“Also, she dressed up for me today.”

Liam was completely dumbfounded: “Brother, what do you mean?

Declan didn’t mind explaining more clearly, his whole body exuding a proud, peacock–like aura:

“Didn’t you want to meet your future sister–in–law?”

“Now you’ve met her. Aria is the one.”

“Come on, call her sister–in–law.”

Liam’s face instantly turned extremely ugly, as if struck by lightning:

His fists clenched tightly:

“The girl on the phone last night was Aria?”

“Brother, do you fucking know that Aria is mine?”

Declan pulled me into his arms, using actions to demonstrate his possessiveness.

His stone was both sarcastic and sharp:

“When did she become yours?”

“Did you mark her, or did you take her to the registry office?”

“Weren’t you worried about her clinging to

you for life, causing you trouble?

“Now you don’t have to worry anymore!”

“The only person she can cling to from now on will be me.”
“And I’ll cherish every moment of it, feeling honored.”
