Oceanus Restaurant was the only prix fixe restaurant in Xoss. Located on Serenity Street, it had a refreshing, elegant architectural style. The restaurant spanned 10,800 square feet, featuring beautiful surroundings and winding paths. Legend had it that it was once a private home passed down from a royal family member. 

Despite lacking magnificent luxury decorations, the slightly shabby structure was attractive to patrons. Most importantly, the fantastic dishes attracted countless customers. Reservations needed to be made six months in advance, and even the Salvatore family was no exception. Additionally, the restaurant had a unique rule guests couldn’t choose their dishes. The menu was entirely random, yet every dish received high praise. 

At that moment, in an old room there, Carlos’s and Mikayla’s families were having their first formal meeting. 

“Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig,” said Mikayla, dressed casually but looking dignified and elegant. 

“Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore” Carlos was modest and polite. 

“Have a seat, Mr. Salvatore!” said Garrett, Carlos’s father, leading Jorge to sit at the head of the table.

Before long, dishes began to arrive one after another. 

Although Carrett and Jorge had never worked together, they’d met at parties and occasionally shared drinks. Today, both men were in especially good spirits.

Don’t drink on an empty stomach, eat something.” She urged him and thought, ‘If I remember correctly, he hasn’t eaten anything since he sat down and has been attentive to the elders.
