Reborn Through Fire (Kisa and Gilbert) novel Chapter 1339

Chapter 1339 This Lifetime Is Enough

Kisa stared at Lea in confusion, and Lea nodded her head.

“So, out of guilt for me at the time, you wanted Gilbert to find the warden so that he and I could make up, right?”

Lea nodded again but looked a little sad. “After I told Gilbert about the warden, he went straight. after Jensen, and then the accident fell upon Jensen. So, in fact, I was the one who was responsible for Jensen’s accident, not Gilbert.”

She was too naive in the past, doing everything for her so-called love. In the end, after doing all those ridiculous things in the name of love, not only did she fail to get even a half-hearted response but also ended up hurting herself with a ton of guilt. Now that she had confessed it all to Kisa, she felt much better. She felt that even if she were to die now, she would feel more at ease.

Kisa’s hands were trembling. If it was Adrien who engineered Jensen’s accident, then it was likely that someone had tampered the car that Jensen was driving. But why would Adrien do this to Jensen? First, to silence the warden, second, to make Jensen the reason for me to break up with Gilbert? Adrien is such a terrible person. If Adrien did harm Jensen, then no way Adrien is David After all, no father would kill his own son for his selfish plans.”

“So, Kisa, Gilbert really loves you. I’m not telling you this to ask for your forgiveness, but I don’t want you to miss out on someone who truly loves you.”

Kisa looked at Lea. “Don’t worry. I know everything now, and I won’t let him slip from my life

again.”

Lea smiled again, but her smile was pale. “Yes, this lifetime is enough.” As if she remembered something, she continued. “Kisa, one more thing; do you remember the paternity test you did before with Andrew and Ada? Anthony swapped the report.”

Kisa was stunned. “What did you say?”

“I told him about the paternity test you took with the two children So, Kisa, I don’t deserve to be

your friend.” Lea already had tears in her eyes as she finished. She smiled and walked away quickly.
