Reborn Through Fire (Kisa and Gilbert) novel Chapter 1093

Chapter 1093 Mind Your Words

Perhaps because Kisa’s gaze was too sharp, or maybe she was just being paranoid, Sharon involuntarily stepped back. “Why are you staring at me like that? There is no proof, and you can’t do anything to me, can you?” She snorted and subconsciously glanced toward the visitation area. She panicked when she found that Adrien had left. As Kisa approached her, she knitted her brows and yelled, “What do you want? Don’t even think about touching me when you have no proof.”

Kisa giggled when she saw her nervous reaction. She looked at Sharon absently and said, “When did you become so timid? Did I say I was going to do something to you? Look how scared you are.”

Snickers rang out all around. Sharon flushed and grunted, “I’m not afraid of you.”

“Oh yeah? Then, why are you backing up?”

Sharon stammered, “I–I’m just afraid that you are going to frame me.”

“Oh, we are all reasonable people. Since you have explained yourself clearly, we won’t blame you. I’m really sorry for the misunderstanding.”

It startled Sharon when she heard Kisa apologize. Then, she grinned with a sense of spite. “Exactly. There must be proof to back up every accusation. Some people only talk crap when they open their mouths. What’s the point of keeping such people on the team?”

“It’s not up to you to decide whether to keep these people.” Peter suddenly came out of nowhere and put his arm around Jolina’s shoulders. At first, he thought of not intervening, but when he saw them bullying Jolina, he could not help but come over.

Seeing Peter glaring at Kisa with hatred, Sharon smirked and said, “Thanks to my sister’s wisdom, not only did she not listen to what your woman said, but she also apologized to me. Otherwise, your woman would have successfully framed me.”

Peter did not give a damn but grunted and brought Jolina away.

“Even though there is no evidence this time, if I catch you in the act next time, you won’t get away with it,” Kisa said, thinking that since Sharon had wanted to kill the ‘ child‘ in her womb, she was certain that there would surely be a next time.
