Gao Ming felt as though happiness had arrived out of nowhere. Not only would he be going to the capital with Su Li, but they would also be living as neighbors. How perfect was that?
Watching their grandson’s elation, Grandpa Gao and Grandma Gao couldn’t help but feel a little lighter themselves.
But, of course, it wasn’t all so simple. Gao Ming had been raised by them since he was little, and the thought of him suddenly leaving for the capital was harder for them to swallow than they had anticipated.
Grandma Gao tugged at her husband’s sleeve, her voice filled with concern. "I’m going too. At least I should stay with my eldest grandson for a while."
Grandpa Gao thought for a moment. He was already retired and spending his days at home was growing tedious. Following his wife’s lead seemed more appealing. Why not treat this like a trip?
He nodded in agreement. "Alright, we’ll go too. You arrange it, but make sure there’s a room for your mother and me in that courtyard house."
Gao Lang was caught off guard, but he couldn’t argue. It seemed like the whole family would be together, just like the Su family. No matter where they went, they never seemed to part.
Suddenly, a sense of envy swept over him. He hadn’t realized just how much he longed for that kind of closeness.
Before long, Gao Ming was back at the Su family home, bursting with excitement. He grabbed Su Li and began sharing the news. "Su Li! My parents are going to the capital too! They said they’ll take me with them, and Grandpa and Grandma are coming too! We’ll never be apart again!"
Gu Zi, overhearing this, felt a surge of surprise.
The Gao family was also going to the capital? What a coincidence.
Still, this wasn’t such a bad thing. Gao Ming and Su Li were inseparable, and it was a great joy that they wouldn’t have to part.

One of the best novels. A different touch, a change in usual billionaire's stories filled with cruelty and betrayals. Thank you author....
