Carina looked around, trying to know if there is anyone even in her closed bedroom.

And then sprayed perfume on herself. She waited for some time and soon her tone turned mild and the scent that was radiating from her, washed it away with a normal wolf's scent.

She could smell herself. It's a bit disgusting but worth it, she felt.

Soon, she covered her head with a black scarf and came out to the veranda and looked around cautiously before jumping out into the backyard.

When she realised there was no one there, she took a step forward but as she did, a guard came on patrolling there.

Her heart throbbed and she immediately bend down to a tree and started doing some random things there. The guard stopped and sniffed from a distance and then went away.

She breathed in relief. That means the scent worked. The guard might think of her as an omega wolf.

After his scent was gone, Carina huffed in her mind and slowly came out of the villa. She walked faster this time and only slowed down after getting into the dark forest.

She turned back to the villa and a side of her lips curved up into a mysterious smirk.

Turning around again, she started walking and only stop before the dark river, which was far away from the Villa. Her eyes fell on a female's back as she casually walked beside her.

Both are now standing beside. "What did you call me for?" She asked.

The woman sneered coldly. "Do you really think I wouldn't know when you betray me?"

"I didn't betray you, Alice." Carina scoffed. "If I did betray you, I wouldn't have come here today taking all the risks of getting banished again."

"Oh, really?" Alice raised her brow in mockery. "You should stop counting me as a stupid one, sweetheart. I am not Charlotte to feel for your sweet lies. I very well know what you are trying to do here."

"Don't forget, Carina. It was me who take you in when you were banished from your own pack and it was me who stopped the news from spreading and make you a member of the Blue Moon pack. If I want, I can destroy you at any time." She turned to her with an evil glare.

Carina felt the danger but she suppressed it with a smile. "What will you say? Do you think I wouldn't do anything if you step on my tail?" She smiled even wider, "Look Alice, we both are negative roles here and our enemy is the same. If we go against each other, that would drown us both and not the one who we wanted to bring down."

Alice turned her gaze again to the dark river and clenched her fists in disdain. Even though she wanted to kill this woman right here, she needs her to go further. But, she doesn't trust this wrench of a bitch anymore!

If this woman could scheme against her own family, it's nothing for Carina to leave her in danger alone.

"Why did you take my name before Charlotte?" Alice asked, suppressing her anger.

And here, this Charlotte is getting smarter day by day! She even banned her to enter the Dark Moon Pack!

"That freaking bitch!" Alice cursed under her breath. "At first I thought that making her wolfless will do my work but that fat head Alpha went after her! Then I successfully kept her away from him but he was too fucking stubborn to keep her and finally, she started recognising him! Her attitude changed even she got back her wolf! What the fuck is happening!?" Alice felt devastated and distraught.

"Isn't it surprising?" Carina spoke. "She blindly trusted you. but, suddenly she changed her attitude! Mateo shared that with me and it was suspicious. Did you investigate this matter?" She asked.

Alice huffed, "Yeah, I did. But, nothing doubtful came out. Fuck!" She cursed bitterly, "Even that fat head brother of mine couldn't lure a woman! He is good for nothing! Only want sex in life! Bloody womaniser!" She cursed again.

Carina smirked, "didn't even let his sister go. What good that man can do even?"

"Shut up!" Alice barked at her and Carina smirked more. "Jokes apart, why don't you get rid of him first? He is doing nothing other than dragging you into bed." Her face turned serious.

Alice scoffed again. "I was planning that. I thought the sent replication would work for Charlotte and then kill both of them together but that fucking Augustus! He appeared all of a sudden!? Why can't he just leave that woman alone for some time!" She said in deep frustration.

Carina shrugged. "He won't. From Mateo's words, I already realised that it's impossible to break them like this. You need to do it like this. When he didn't let her go after the scent replication, then you should forget about him having her." She suggested.

Alice nodded her head, her gaze turned slightly darker, looking at the black river. "You are right. We need to change our plans this time. No more hide and seek. Now, it's time to hit on the face. And for that, I have an amazing plan that will work undoubtedly..." The left corner of her lips curled up a little in an evil and mysterious smirk...
