Wu Yanyun was worrying about not finding a chance to meet Adelle alone, but unexpectedly, she ran into her on the street today.
Wu Yanyun was very happy, ready to seize this opportunity to reveal the true faces of the Ni Family in front of Adelle. She lowered her head to straighten up her clothing before approaching to start a conversation, "Hello."
Adelle was first stunned, then she replied, "Hello."
Wu Yanyun continued, "Are you Ni Yang’s sister, Adelle?"
"Do you know me?" Adelle was surprised.
Wu Yanyun smiled, "There’s a teahouse ahead, let’s go have some tea."
Adelle, seeing that Wu Yanyun looked pretty and didn’t seem like a bad person, nodded in agreement.
Upon arriving at the teahouse, Wu Yanyun ordered a pot of Longjing Tea, "This is Longjing tea, a green tea from China, very fragrant. I bet you’ve never tried it before?"
Adelle replied, "I have tasted it. My sister also brewed some before, but she made Tieguanyin, which smells similar to this one."
Sister?
Hearing this word, Wu Yanyun’s expression dimmed, "Is your sister Ni Yang?"
"Yes." Adelle nodded, "Do you know my sister?"
Wu Yanyun took a sip of tea, looking up at Adelle, "Actually, I am also your sister."
"What?" Adelle’s eyes widened looking at Wu Yanyun.
A sneer curved on Wu Yanyun’s lips, "We are the same, both pitiful people abandoned by others."
"Pitiful?" Adelle frowned, "I don’t feel pitiful at all."
Adelle never felt pitiful; she was thankful for the people who appeared in her life.
"You were abandoned right after birth, don’t you think you are pitiful?" Wu Yanyun looked incredulously at Adelle.
Adelle shook her head, "Not pitiful at all."
"What?" Wu Yanyun furrowed her brows tightly, thinking Adelle might be out of her mind.
Pausing, Wu Yanyun continued, "If you hadn’t been thrown away when you were a child, you could have had a better life! All the hardships you’ve faced are because they threw you away!"
Adelle remained unexpressive.
Before she was three years old, she had lived in an orphanage. The orphanage had many children, and the director could not take care of every child personally. Later, she was taken back to M Country by her grandparents.
