Xavia’s small face instantly flushed red. “Sorry, I don’t know how I ended up in your arms. I might have been dreaming when I was asleep and sleepwalked.”

She desperately tried to come up with an excuse, but Zivon just looked at her and said casually, “I carried you.”

What?

He carried her?

Xavia stared at him in shock, and her suspicious gaze seemed to be silently asking him if he did anything to her while she was asleep.

Zivon, however, found her actions adorable and smiled slightly. “You were feeling uncomfortable sleeping on your stomach, so I let you sleep in my arms. Nothing else happened. Were you hoping that something did?”

So that was it!

Xavia blushed and shook her head quickly. “No…” It was just that this position was too intimate.

Xavia shifted her body to get off him, and it felt like electricity sparked wherever their skin touched.

Zivon placed his hands on her slim waist and said, “Xav, you slept in my arms and we did what we were supposed to… Are you not going to take responsibility for me?”

His low voice was mysterious and seductive.

Xavia blinked at him, bewildered.

What did he mean when he said that she had slept in his arms? He was the one who had carried her and hugged her in the first place!

Also, there was a reason why they did what they had to!

She muttered in a small voice, “You’re not pregnant, so why should I take responsibility for you?”

“Oh? Does that mean I have to hire a team of biologists to research ways for men to get pregnant before you can get with me?”

He was obviously joking but it sounded serious when those words came out of his mouth.

Xavia laughed out loud. “You're good at making jokes. Let's not talk about it anymore, I still have to come up with a way to get Kevin over there.”

She had no mercy at all.

Very soon, Kevin replied: [Did she ask you to threaten me? Tell her not to scheme against me, or things will not end well for her.]

Xavia was stunned.

Did he think that Dolly got pregnant on purpose?

Furious, she replied: [You’re the one who could not control your own lower body and did not take proper preventive measures, but you still have the audacity to blame Dolly? Dolly must have been blind to have been interested in you and stayed by your side! I advise you to deal with this matter properly, or you'll be the one suffering.]
