At this very moment, Xavia was utterly terrified of Keith, even when he wasn’t touching her…! Averting her gaze, Xavia simply retorted, “…And why should I trust you? Do you think I’m stupid or something?”

Smiling as he raised her chin, Keith simply replied, “I’ll drop off and pick up your daughter from school every day… I’m saying this since until you figure everything out, you’re not leaving this room…!”

Before Xavia could even reply, Keith had already slammed the door behind him!

Naturally, Xavia immediately attempted to follow after him. However, the door simply wouldn’t budge!

“Open the d*mned door, Keith…! You utter jerk of a man…!” yelled the desperate woman as she continued trying to break free.

Keith, however, simply ignored her pleas and continued making his way downstairs… Once he got to the foyer, he stood before the mirror and began straightening his hair and suit… and once he was done, he turned to look at his assistant—who was standing behind him—before saying, “Keep an eye out on her in the coming two days. She’s not allowed to leave without my permission. Understand?”

“Understood,” replied the assistant, prompting Keith to walk out…

However, as he got to the courtyard’s large banyan tree, Keith’s gaze instantly darkened. Standing under the tree, was the prestigious Zivon. Though summer was already nearing, that man simply carried an eternal winter around him…

Regardless, Keith then walked over before asking in a sarcastic tone with hints of hatred, “Oh my… Were you waiting for someone else’s woman here last night, Uncle Zivon?”

Keith, for one, had utterly despised Zivon ever since he was a child. After all, Zivon was always so good at everything, and he kept snatching everything that Keith desired! He was already married to Jenna, for f*ck’s sake…! Why was he still after Xavia?!

As Zivon clenched his fists even tighter, sparks of electricity could almost be seen as the two glared at each other…! If Zivon had a stone in his hand, it’d probably have turned into dust by now…!

Satisfied by Zivon’s reaction, Keith then left, leaving Zivon standing there alone… and shortly after, Zivon landed a punch on the tree’s trunk!

Even as leaves began falling off, the frost exuding from Zivon remained never-ending…

Meanwhile, Keith’s assistant was just pushing Xavia’s door open to serve her some food…
