“Either way, it’d do you good to remember this. My current situation is all thanks to you, so if you dare shout, threaten, or take advantage of me again in the future, expect me to spill every nasty little secret you’ve been hiding,” added Xavia. Though her voice was soft, her message was powerful.

Regardless, Jenna was understandably startled to hear all that. Keith must have told Xavia about everything he knew! What the hell was his motive?!

Before Jenna could reply, however, Xavia quickly whispered, “Oh, and one more thing… I know for a fact that you aren’t the real director.”

…How…?! How the hell had she found out?!

Looking at the pale-faced Jenna whose eyes were now widened, Xavia decided not to frighten her any further. Releasing her sister’s hands, Xavia then smiled sweetly before saying, “Either way, I’ll be grabbing some dessert first. Again, congratulations, sis, and I hope the rest of your night is wonderful!”

Following that, Xavia hooked her arms in Keith’s before walking off, leaving the shocked Jenna with her new hamster—that she utterly hated and feared—in her hands…

That… That d*mned Xavia…! How dare she threaten her…?! She absolutely hated being threatened! Jenna wasn’t letting Xavia get away with this if it was the last thing she did…!

Meanwhile, Xavia—who had just gotten some dessert—plopped herself onto a small sofa before staring at the anxious Jenna…

Xavia had earlier found out that Jenna hadn’t actually filmed the movie while she was out getting a congratulatory gift for her sister. More specifically, she learned of the truth after heading to the restaurant to cook for Keith. Basically, it was sometime around then when she overheard a conversation between two guests…

“To think that your movie would win an Oscar! I always knew you could do it! Congratulations!”

“Hush! Nobody can learn about this! That aside, Jenna’s popularity has a lot to do with the movie’s success. After all, who would even give it a watch if they found out that a nobody like me was the one who made it?”

“Oh please, your work is excellent! No amount of popularity would help you obtain such rave reviews! Trust me when I say that you’ll be on the big stage one day! Still, Jenna is really thick-skinned to be able to host a celebration ceremony over something she didn’t even make! I’d be ashamed of myself if I were her…”

Staring back at her for a while, Keith eventually replied in a gentle tone, “You really don’t have to be strangers with me, Xavia. Even though we’ve only been with each other for a while, I’ll have you know that I’ve always seen you as an equal. Besides, you’re my girlfriend, so whatever’s mine, is yours. That aside, let’s go watch a movie.”

Watching as Keith then got to his feet, the confused Xavia was prompted to say, “…H-huh? A movie? Now?”

After all, this wasn’t something they had planned together. Regardless, Keith simply replied, “Well, couples watch movies all the time, right? We need to start doing this too or we’ll never fall for each other!”

…That was his reasoning…? Then again, she wasn’t against the idea. She hadn’t watched movies in a while now, and it wasn’t like she wanted to be here anyway. With that in mind, Xavia wrapped her arms around Keith’s, prompting the duo to start walking off…

Before they left, however, Keith made sure to lead her to Zivon before saying, “Xavia and I are planning to watch a movie, so we’ll be heading off first, Uncle Zivon.”

…A movie? Upon hearing that, Zivon instantly thought of kissing couples taking advantage of the cinema’s dim lighting… Due to that, he couldn’t help but glare at them as he replied, “…Do you really have the time to go on a movie date? From what I know, you still have to handle the Haven Project which, I remind you, requires results by tomorrow morning.”
