Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 629

Maybe this was one of the reasons Zivon liked her…

Either way, it was about half an hour later when the car came to a stop at the North Court. The area itself was quiet, and the pavilions here seemed to set a different kind of mood. This appeared to be Keith’s private courtyard…

Looking around, Xavia couldn’t help but ask, “…Where is this place, Young Master Keith…?”

After getting out of the car and opening Xavia’s door like a gentleman, Keith replied, “It’s my personal courtyard. Every Burton living here has their own courtyard, and each of these areas—placed far apart from each other—are managed independently. With that in mind, nobody else comes to this courtyard aside from me and my men. Since my great-grandmother only has half a year left to live, we’ll be staying here to make visiting her more convenient.”

…Wait. So that meant… she was going to be staying here with him?! Her face now pale, Xavia was prompted to say, “…Um… While I said I’d cooperate, I never agreed to live with you…”

In a way, her response sounded like what a naïve and inexperienced teenage girl would say. Regardless, Keith simply smiled subtly as he replied, “Don’t worry, there are several rooms inside. I won’t ever force you to do anything you’re unwilling to. Besides, do you really want to return to the Lockhart Mansion? From what I know, not only do the Lockharts treat you badly, but they also keep wanting you to leave. What more, I’m worried you’ll run off if I don’t keep a close eye on you.”

Clearing her throat, Xavia then said, “…I wouldn’t call that running away…”

“Oh? Would you not have left had I not stopped you earlier, then?” replied Keith, prompting Xavia to go silent.

Thinking back, living together with Keith would probably be the best explanation for Jenna for the moment… Understanding that, Xavia eventually sighed before asking in a weary tone, “…Can my friend live here too…?”

“Of course,” replied Keith rather casually.

“…I appreciate it…” said Xavia in a grateful tone. With that out of the way, Xavia then followed Keith inside before placing Yulia on one of the beds…

Upon hearing Keith’s voice, everyone turned to look at him… and it was then when they realized that Xavia was with him.

Immediately looking displeased, Dylan was prompted to say, “I’m sure I told you to stay quietly at home these few days. With that in mind, why are you out all the time? This isn’t the time to be indulging in romance, you know?”

Not wanting her son to be scorned by others, Helen quickly interjected by adding, “That’s quite enough. Young people are like that, and you know it. Either way, now that he’s here, please quiet down so that grandma isn’t disturbed…”

Though he was still irked, Dylan held his tongue and proceeded to ignore the boy. As for Keith, he gently patted Xavia’s arm, signaling that she’d be fine by his side. With that done, he led her to the bedside to stand close to Ava…

Even though Xavia attempted to hide her presence as much as possible, the atmosphere remained tense. It didn’t help that a certain prestigious someone—who was standing in the deepest part of the room—had been glaring condescendingly at her for a while now…
