She pursed her lips, gritted her teeth, and said sharply, “I don’t believe that Maison would bite you for no reason. He would not lie about something like that, and whether you admit it or not, let me tell you that I will expose the recording today if you dare touch Maison again.”

Recording?

Jenna’s gaze fell on the cell phone in Xavia’s hand. “D*mn it, you recorded that?!”

Xavia did not deny it. “Yes. I had to do it for Maison’s safety, so I hope you realize that I am not joking around. You should know what’s best for yourself.”

After saying that, Xavia got out of Jenna’s car and got into the small yellow car that she had prepared in advance, then drove off.

Jenna was so angry that her whole body trembled in anger. Her face was flushed red and her hands were gripping the steering wheel tightly. She wanted to crash her car into Xavia! She really wanted her dead!

But she could not do that.

Jenna had been looking for various hackers and countless ways to delete the recording, but she had never been able to find out the account number and the password. That was also a reason why she could not do anything to Xavia.

Bang! She slammed her fist on the steering wheel to vent her dissatisfaction.

On the other hand, Xavia was relieved. She believed that Jenna would never dare attack Maison again in the future now that she had this recording.

She drove her car back to the company’s dormitory.

“What a joke! Talking is an art, and I specifically learnt it to flirt with handsome young men. Anyway, don’t worry about it, just focus on doing your job. I will help you deal with all these trivial matters. I have to say though, it is pretty awesome that we were able to convince them to let you keep your mask on at all times.”

Xavia was puzzled too. The person-in-charge seemed to have been acting as though it was inevitable for her to sign the contract with them before this, but it felt as though his attitude worsened after she signed the contract. Why did she feel as though something was not quite right? What could be the matter?
