After a slight pause, Jenna walked over to the unmoving child… Nudging him slightly with her finger, she was prompted to ask, “…Maison…?”

No reply. He had truly been knocked out cold…! What should she do? Zivon would definitely have her head if something were to happen to that d*mned child…!

As the flustered Jenna looked around the room, her gaze eventually fell on her injured hand… And shortly after, an evil glint was reflected in her eyes.

Picking the boy up, she then placed him on the bed before dealing with the blood on the back of his head. She made sure to clean up the blood on the floor as well so that it wouldn’t look too appalling.

With that done, Jenna took a deep breath… before biting down hard on her own hand…! As the pain intensified, Jenna couldn’t help but let out a muffled grunt. Though she went paler and paler the harder she bit, she simply continued biting into her flesh… By the end of it, she had bitten so hard that even her flesh was exposed…!

‘…This is probably enough,’ Jenna thought to herself as she finally stopped biting and quickly wiped her mouth clean. Following that, she gave Zayne a call before saying in a pleading tone, “Z-Zayne…! Please hurry over…! Maison… Maison’s in trouble…!”

After ending the call, she called Zivon next. Using an equally pitiful and helpless tone, Jenna then said, “Z-Zivon…! Maison’s hurt! Please come back quickly…!”

Due to how urgent she had made it sound, both men immediately bounded back to the villa…

Zayne was the first to arrive, and the second he saw Maison lying on the bed, he immediately walked over to the boy before asking, “Where was he injured?”

Crocodile tears in her eyes, Jenna cried out, “T-the back of his head…! It hit the corner of the table… Oh, I’m so worried…! Hurry and give him a check-up…!”

“There’s no need to panic. I’ll begin treatment immediately,” replied Zayne as he quickly opened his medical box and skilfully began examining Maison’s condition…

Hearing that, Zivon looked down... and true enough, blood was dripping down her fair hand! Though her hand was now tainted a shade of maroon—due to most of the blood already dried up—, clear teeth marks could still be seen on it. From the looks of it, the bite seemed to have dug deep enough to the point where her flesh could be seen. A clear indication of just how serious her wound was…

Regardless, upon hearing Zayne’s question, Jenna’s face instantly tensed up as she hid her bleeding hand before saying, “I-It’s nothing… Don’t worry, I can just apply my own medicine to patch things up!”

It was clear as day that she was trying to hide something, and this prompted Zivon to pull her injured hand out. After taking a good look at it, he frowned before asking, “…Maison bit you?”

Despite being a question, the way he said it made it sound like a statement. Whatever the case was, Jenna quickly shook her head in embarrassment as she replied, “D-don’t worry about it… It’s completely understandable for Maison to get emotional outbursts… Besides, it doesn’t hurt at all…! Um… Please focus on caring for Maison… I’ll… go wash up first!”

Before Zivon could say anything else, she had already pushed his hand away and began running toward the bathroom, her blood leaving a trail behind as she left the area…
