Anne noticed someone coming down the stairs, so she closed the page on the screen and stood up.

She looked at Anthony and asked, “Are you going to have breakfast now?”

Anthony raised his black eyes. “Do you have something planned?”

“Me? No. I’m just asking,” said Anne.
