Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 410

Wilson hugged Serene who was wrapped up in the quilt and yelled at the woman who was standing there looking at them as though she was watching a drama. “Get out!”

A mocking smile spread across Ruby’s face. She looked at the girl on the bed with a contemptuous gaze. “I’ll be waiting for you outside to eat breakfast together. I brought breakfast.”

After finishing her sentence, Ruby crossed her arms like an empress and walked out to the living room calmly.

Wilson’s face darkened and his voice was cold, “Close the door!”

Ruby turned back and cast him a cold gaze before slamming the door hard.

Wilson heaved a sigh of relief after Ruby left. He asked the person in his arms, “Did she do anything to you?”

Serene was terrified. Which girl would not be frightened when another woman came barging in to yank her quilt off after she just made out with her boyfriend?

It was extremely shocking.

Serene’s face turned red and white at the same time. Anger, irritation, fear… she was feeling so much emotion at one time.

She glared at Wilson, pushed him away and said, “Who is that woman?”

Serene did not like her at all. That woman was looking at her scornfully like a mighty empress.

Her gaze was exceptionally insulting.

Wilson quickly explained, “She’s my colleague.”

Serene’s eyes widened further. She choked as she roared at him, “You’re lying! I know all of our colleagues in the hospital!”

Anger took over her and she burst into tears. Her eyes turned red like a provoked rabbit.

“Get away from me! Don’t touch me! I’m going back home!”

She bent over to look for her clothes. The only thing she wanted to do was to leave that place!

Wilson pulled her into his arms and tried to hold down her body which was still struggling to escape from his embrace. “She’s just my friend. I didn’t know she’s coming over today. She must have frightened you a lot. Let’s go and see her later and I’ll get her to apologize to you.”

Serene paused for a moment. “Really?”

Was she really just his friend?

However, Serene’s intuition told her that that woman liked Wilson. Hidden behind her scornful eyes were hostility.

Wilson’s dark gaze stared at her deeply. “Yes, don’t cry.”

The man reached out his hand and wiped away her tears. Aggrieved, Serene bit her lips and stared at him with teary eyes. She sobbed, “But where did you go this morning?”

“I went out to buy breakfast. I bought your favorite steamed buns.”

Serene sniffed and her stomach rumbled. She frowned slightly. Her ears started turning red as Wilson was watching her closely.

“I’m hungry…”

Wilson lowered his head and kissed her forehead. Then, he spoke in a gentle voice, “I washed and hung up your clothes to dry on the balcony last night. They should be dry by now. I’ll go get them for you.”

Serene was speechless.

Who would expect that this other-worldly man would know how to do laundry for others!

He could wash the outer garments with the washing machine. However, he would not have washed her undergarments with his own hands, right?

Wilson walked out of the room and saw Ruby sitting in the living room waiting for him.

His expression immediately turned cold. “Why are you here?”

He spoke word by word, “Try touching even a single strand of Serene’s hair and we’ll be enemies forever. Ruby Luna, do it if you have the guts.”

Ruby’s heart trembled.

They have gone through hell for so many years and look at what he was saying right now. He wanted to become enemies with Ruby just because of that irrelevant woman?

Hah, he must have been bewitched.

Did that woman cast a spell on Wilson?

Grabbing the clothes, Wilson walked directly into the room.

He walked into the bedroom and saw Serene sitting on the bed, spacing out with her bloodshot eyes.

Wilson walked over and sat next to her. He handed her the clothes and asked her in a gentle voice, “Do you want me to put them on for you?”

Serene blushed and said, “No, it’s fine.”

Wilson obeyed her and said, “Put on the clothes then. Come out and have breakfast after you’re done washing up.”

He got up and a pair of hands stopped him, grabbing onto his sleeves. “You haven’t told me who that person is. Is she still outside? If she’s just a normal friend of yours, how did she know where you live? I didn’t even open the door for her this morning. How did she know your password… I don’t even know your password.”

Serene mumbled softly. Wilson sat down next to her again and gazed at her deeply. “Are you jealous?”

Serene was annoyed. “Who the hell is she? Why… why did she call you Aret?”

She called him his nickname. Were they really just normal friends?

“If you don’t like it, I’ll ask her not to call me by that name anymore, alright?”

Serene bit her lips. With her fingers intertwined, she was confused. “Who is she then? Wilson Jarret, you’re not allowed to lie to me.”
