On Saturday, James Fudd paid a sudden visit.

“Second Uncle, why are you here?”

James answered with an affable smile, “There are so many things that have happened to you lately and when you were in trouble, I’ve met your father a few times. I’ve never come and visited you after you’re back safe and sound. As for you, you didn’t even bring Verian along to visit us. Hence, I purposely came over today to visit all of you.”

Heaton explained politely, “I’ve just returned these few days and there is a pile of work waiting for me. Besides, Riana is pregnant and is rather weak now, hence I didn’t have the time to visit you.”

There was a slight change in James’ expression. His gaze shifted to Verian’s stomach. “Verian is pregnant?”

Under Heaton’s extensive care these few days, Verian looked healthier and better physically. She looked more lively now. She smiled faintly and said, “Yes, Second Uncle. If we’re free, we’ll definitely pay a visit to you and Second Aunt.”

James worriedly asked, “Are you feeling okay?”

“I’m fine, Second Uncle. Heaton is taking good care of me.”

Sarah closed the door, walked toward him and questioned, “Didn’t you say Jolin aborted the child at that time? Why… Why do you still suspect that Verian is Jolin’s daughter? James Fudd, how can you let me and Janny down?”

Jolin Lacy probably lied to him. She probably did not abort that child at all.
