Chapter 280
Cyra
When we finally leave the office, I feel stronger. So when Warren asks us how it went, I don’t break down. Instead, I lift my chin and tell him that my mother’s brother is exactly like my father and we won’t be creating any type of relationship with my mother’s family.
Warren looks at me a moment, then pulls me into a hug.
“I’m sorry. I know that must be very disappointing for you.”
“It is. But I’m not going to let it ruin my life. They haven’t been a part of my life up until now, so really, nothing changes.”
“You’re heading over to the other side?”
“Yes. Anything we need to know?” I ask him.
“Things feel more settled over there now. Demoting Hugo caused a bit of a stir, but I think the pack realized very quickly that he wasn’t doing anything. Having Gamma Elliot over there has shown them how much they were missing by having a lazy Gamma. Oh, and Yana wants you to let Wendy and Hacker know that they have some yellow lines over here.”
“Will do.”
When we get to the other side, we check in with Wendy and Hacker, letting them know that some lines on the other side are yellow.
“We have that over here too,” Hacker says distractedly. From what I can tell, he and Wendy work very well together. He’s saying things that make no sense to me, but she seems to understand what he’s saying and does whatever he’s asking.
We leave them to it, then go to meet with Beta Eric. He’s great. He is very organized and with Gamma Elliot’s assistance, he’s been able to stabilize the pack.
We have dinner with the pack and since Hacker and Wendy are still working over here, I have food sent to the Alpha office where the security system is. Yorick and I spend the evening with the pack members, getting to know them better and nurturing the relationships with them that we need in order to create a loyal and happy pack.
It’s late when we finally get to bed. Tonight, Yorick takes his time, as if he’s showing me again that no matter what, our life with be beautiful together. As always, time with my mate heals all wounds; emotional, mental, and physical.
In the morning, we join the pack for joint sparring training. Here I get my first look at what Warren is doing to bring the packs together. Partners are set up so that they spar with someone from the other side and I realize that Warren has been assigning partners so that every day, they spar with someone new. It’s obvious that this is building relationships within our joined pack very quickly.
When warrior training is over, people linger, talking to each other, but eventually, they head back to their respective packhouses for
breakfast.
Yorick and I let Warren know that we’ll be by later to start going over pack business, then we return to the side we’re staying at.
“Let’s do breakfast in the central area,” I say to Yorick. “It seems like everyone wants to continue talk. they are hungry and eventually that’s what draws them away. What do you think?”
“I think that’s a fantastic idea,” he says.
1 being together, but
When we return, I let the omegas over here know what I want to do, and rather than meeting with the omegas on the other side, I have the Lead Omega here contact the Lead Omega on the other side to plan a joint meal. Our omegas need to become unified as well as our warriors.

Chapter 280
We’ve just about finished breakfast when Yorick and I get a mind link from Warren.
‘Alpha Ramin and Alpha Arman just arrived at the guard gate on this side. They are requesting to see you, Cyra
‘What do they want?‘ I ask as Yorick growls.
“I don’t know. Do you want me to send them away?‘
I look at Yorick. “Let’s go see what they want.”
“I’m with you,” he says, but he’s still growling at their audacity‘
‘Tell them they will have to wait until we get to them. I don’t want them on our pack lands?
‘Will do. Do you want me to send warriors?‘
‘Did they bring any with them?‘ Yorick asks.
‘Only a handful. It doesn’t seem like this is an attack of any sort. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have warriors hiding away from the pack lands.’
‘Send some warriors to keep them contained. We’ll run so we can get there faster,’ I say.
Yorick and I say goodbye to Eric and Elliot, then step outside before stripping and shifting.
‘If they think that they can come here and intimidate us, they will find out just how wrong they are,’ Rina growls, ready for a fight.
When we get close, I stop and shift, unwilling to approach my uncle and cousin naked. I get dressed, then reach out my hand to Yorick. We approach the guard gate hand–in–hand.
A man in his early twenties is leaning against an SUV similar to the ones we have in our pack. When he sees us, he pushes off the car and knocks on the window. The door opens and a man who looks like an older version of the first steps out.
“Luna Cyra, I’m…”
“It’s Alpha Cyra,” I snap, cutting him off. “My mate and I are co–Alphas of our pack.”
I watch the surprise flicker across his face before being replaced by admiration. He glances at Yorick, then back at me.
“Alpha Cyra, I am your cousin, Alpha Arman. This is my father, Alpha Ramin. I understand the two of you had a … discordant conversation yesterday.”
“Discordant? Yeah, I guess you could call itlar,
“My father and I are not in agreement with how he handled your call yesterday. We’ve come to apologize and make amends.”
“Really,” I say, turning my focus to Alpha Ramin./”Let me guess. You heard we’re related to Alpha Quirin and suddenly you’re concerned that your actions may cause us rally our family and decimate your son’s pack. Is that why you’re here?” I snarl.
Alpha Arman opens his mouth, but I hold up my hand silencing him as my eyes remain on Alpha Ramin.
“Well, I am nothing like my father. So you can take y your Merry Menagerie and get the fuck off my pack lands.”
He steps forward, but Yorick’s warning growl makes him stop.
“Alpha Cyra, I really did come to make amends,” Alpha Ramin says.

Chapter 280
“It doesn’t feel good when people make assumptions about your intentions without listening to you, does it, Alpha? “I map,
“No, it doesn’t,” he says, watching me. A slow smile spreads across his face. “You not only look like your mother, you have her fire too
“I wouldn’t know. I never had a chance to get to know my mother.”
“Alpha Cyra, please. My father and yours have a lot of bad blood between them. That tainted his conversation with you yesterday, but we really are here to make amends. And whether or not you accept this olive branch, the inheritance is yours.”
“I don’t want your money,” I growl.
“It’s not our money. It’s yours by birthright. Please Alpha, just give us a chance,” Alpha Arman says.
I look at Yorick.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Pack's Doctor
I'm so excited!!! Yorrick's story is finally being written (i had already lost hope on this) - thank you!!! It's really statisfying to read all those hints about who will be mated together. And it's nice that Yorric's story includes not only him, but also Wendy. I'm being kept on edge how Henry's story will roll out. *about gibberish parts: yeah, there are quite a few, but come on, it's not like we pay for the service to have the right to require good quality! I'm just happy i'm able to read what i like!...
157 is all gibberish as well. I can't undeestand anything about the famiky leaving, & what her mom is saying about the work sge needs to do in her relashionship.. the auther seriously needs to rewrite or edit all these errors....
The beginning of Chapter 156 is all gibberish.. wth??!!?? Why does this happen all the time 🫤...
Great story but im at chapter 137 & there's a lot of parts where the words are all scrambled leaving the reader to have to try and desipher what is being said. That kind of disrupts the flow .....
It's my favorite book of all the books about warewolves that I've read! I come back to reread it again and again, after finishing another not so enthralling story from another author. I will soon know this story by heart, but it's still way more pleasureable to read than all the rest :)...
