Chapter 263
Chapter 263
Megan
When I got back from my inoming run, the entire Academy was buzzing about what had happened. Apparently, Stellan came to force bil mark on Cyra and take her home with him. That didn’t go so well for him.
Yorick went with Cyra to claim her pack from her father who is also in a lot of trouble for stealing money or something
“Alpha Michael carried the unconscious guy out of here over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes,” Talek says.
“Where was he taking him?” I ask.
“Jail, I guess. Alpha Nevaeh has cancelled classes for the next two days, so we get a long weekend.”
“Why would she cancel classes?” I ask, digging into my breakfast.
“Yorick, Piper, Chase, Zach, and Landon all went with Cyra to reclaim her pack,” Katelynn says.
“They all went with her?” I ask. That’s more than a quarter of our class members. No wonder they cancelled classes.
“Apparently. I guess they didn’t know how her pack would respond, and they all went for support,” she says.
I look at the group sitting at the table with me. Talek, Katelynn, Helena, and Spencer. He’s new to our group since he and Helena started sleeping together. I don’t see them following me if I were to go challenge my father to take his pack. And even if they came with me, I don’t think any of them, except possibly Talek, would be strong enough to help me keep the pack in line. They’re all here at the Academy, so they’re strong, but none of these guys will become elite fighter that I plan to be.
We finish breakfast and since classes are cancelled, I don’t really have anything to do. The others go off, probably to have sex, but I linger, wondering if I can find out anything about Stellan and what he might have said about me. I’m a little worried that if Alpha Nevaeh knows that I was feeding him information, she might discipline me. It wasn’t like I gave him much. After Katelynn was booted from their group, they were very careful. But Alpha Nevaeh isn’t Alpha Leo. She’s not easily manipulated.
However.. I watch as Alpha Michael returns, presumably from wherever he took Stellan. He goes up to Alpha Nevaeh who was obviously waiting for him and they talk for a few moments before he heads inside.
I begin to follow him, wondering if I can get information from him.
He goes to his office, leaving his door partially open. I knock and step inside, closing the door behind me.
“Good morning, Megan. What can I do for you?” he asks.
I tilt my head and step up to him, resting my hands on his chest. “I heard you had a difficult morning, Alpha,” I say, using my best seductive
purr.
He raises an eyebrow at me. “And?”
“And, I thought maybe you might need to unwind a bit,” I say, letting my hands slide down to his stomach.
“And what exactly were you thinking?” he asks.
I raise my shoulder negligently. If was wearing a negligée, the strap would have fallen off and given him a show, but I work with what I have.
“I could give you a massage. I could take the edge off. I could give you an outlet to work off all that excess energy,” I say, looking up at him through my lashes as I bite my lower lip.

Chapter 263
A second later he has me against the wall, his body pressed against mine with my arms pinned over my head. I pap, not quendam quite so aggressive and forceful, but I like it.
He leans in to kiss me, and I lift my head, giving him permission. Just before his lips touch mine, he stops.
“You disappoint me, Megan.”
I frown, looking into his eyes. Rather than being full of lust, they’re full of disappointment.
I try to pull away from him, but he holds me in place easily.
“I thought you were here to prove to your father that you’re NOT the woman he thinks you are. This,” he says, gesturing to my body, “this is exactly who your father thinks you are. A woman whoring out her body to get what she wants. You’re better than this and if you want to become the elite fighter I think you do, then you need to start treating yourself with respect. And you need to expect that others will treat you with that same respect. You’re a beautiful, sexy woman, Megan. But if you don’t start acting like you’re more than that, then that’s all you’ll ever be, a manipulative woman who uses her body to get what she wants.”
It feels like he’s stripped me bare and found me utterly lacking. It hurts more than I thought it would, and I feel tears prick at my eyes.
He steps back, releasing me, as I struggle to breathe.
“Now, why don’t you ask me what you were trying to find out,” he says.
I shake my head, wrapping my arms around my waist to keep from falling apart in front of this man.
“You were willing to fuck me to get the information you wanted, but you’re not willing to have a simple conversation about it?” he asks, leaning against his desk and crossing his arms over his chest.
I feel my cheeks flush with embarrassment. When he puts it like that, it makes me sound so cheap. I guess that’s what he thinks of me and for
some reason, that hurts so much more than my own father thinking the same thing.
I keep my eyes on the floor. “I wanted to know if Stellan said anything about me.”
“First, how do you know who he is, and second, why would he have mentioned you?”
“I knew he was here because of Cyra. He came to campus the second week of school. Yorick punched him, probably would have killed him if his friends hadn’t pulled him off. I told Stellan that I would keep tabs on the two of them for him. We’ve talked a couple of times, but I never really had much information to give him,” I say.
“Are you the reason he showed up here this morning?” he asks.
“No. I haven’t talked to him in weeks or haven’t had anything to tell him. Cyra and her group don’t exactly trust me.”
“Can you blame them?”
“I guess not.”
He doesn’t say anything and eventually, I force/myself to look up at him. This time, his eyes are assessing.
“You know, in the elite fighting teams, trust is imperative. I have worked with men and woman who were responsible for keeping… alive on some of the missions I’ve been on. I had to trust that they would be there for me, and they had to have the same trust in me to have their back. There’s no place for manipulation in an elite team. You have a lot of potential, Megan. You could become an elite fighter, if you choose to become the woman I see in you. But if you continue to hold yourself back, if you continue to be the woman your father expects you to be, then that’s all you’ll ever be, a desperate woman who lets men use her and never gets what she wants out of life. Get your head out of your ass, get some fucking self–esteem, start acting like the Alpha female you are, and start earning the trust of your fellow Academy members. Show me you want this, Megan. Show me that you are willing to become the type of fighter that deserves a spot on an elite fighting team.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Pack's Doctor
I'm so excited!!! Yorrick's story is finally being written (i had already lost hope on this) - thank you!!! It's really statisfying to read all those hints about who will be mated together. And it's nice that Yorric's story includes not only him, but also Wendy. I'm being kept on edge how Henry's story will roll out. *about gibberish parts: yeah, there are quite a few, but come on, it's not like we pay for the service to have the right to require good quality! I'm just happy i'm able to read what i like!...
157 is all gibberish as well. I can't undeestand anything about the famiky leaving, & what her mom is saying about the work sge needs to do in her relashionship.. the auther seriously needs to rewrite or edit all these errors....
The beginning of Chapter 156 is all gibberish.. wth??!!?? Why does this happen all the time 🫤...
Great story but im at chapter 137 & there's a lot of parts where the words are all scrambled leaving the reader to have to try and desipher what is being said. That kind of disrupts the flow .....
It's my favorite book of all the books about warewolves that I've read! I come back to reread it again and again, after finishing another not so enthralling story from another author. I will soon know this story by heart, but it's still way more pleasureable to read than all the rest :)...
