Mated to Two Bad Boy Alphas

Chapter 212 Guest

–CAITLYN’S POV–

No!I screamed, pulling at the handle with all my might. Open up!

The door refused to budge.

Behind me, there were low growls, deep, guttural ones.

My heart knocked against my ribs as I slowly turned around, legs trembling, my breaths coming hard.

Blake still sat on the bed, staring at me, his eyes darker than midnight. He had a hand pressed to his throat where I’d cut him, and his jaw was clenched. He slowly stood up, and the shaking of my body amplified, my hands flying to the handle again, trying to break open the door.

He took his time to walk over to me, his steps predatory, each one of them bringing me closer to my doom.

Oh God.

I was an idiot.

Years of training wasted.

Everything I’d learnt was useless when it actually came down to

I should’ve been smarter. I should have thought it through.

Why did I do this?

I’d been exhausted. My mind was filled with a million thoughts.

Emotions clouded my judgement.

But why it happened didn’t matter.

I’d lost.

I was about to die.

………..

Blake closed the distance between us, and a soft cry left my lips as he reached towards me.

Don’t touch me!I sobbed, closing my eyes shut.

He wasn’t going to listen.

He was going to mark me like he did to Lia.

And then I’d lose all sense of reason.

Something clicked, and I gasped, my eyes shooting open.

I glanced down to realise he’d unlocked the door.

My eyebrows pulled together as I glanced up at him.

Blake stared back at me with a calm look on his face.

I wasn’t going to keep you in here another night, Caitlyn,he said softly, although it sounded like it pained him to talk. Come on, I’ll lead you to your actual room.

I blinked.

Once. Twice.

Hehe didn’t hit me. Or slam me against the wall and bury his teeth into my neck.

He didn’t even shout or threaten me.

Why didn’t he look mad anymore?

He slowly reached for my hand, and I flinched, pulling it away from him.

I won’t hurt you,he said, then finally grabbing my wrist.

I held my breath, waiting for his hold to tighten until my bone would snap. Waiting for him to twist my wrist. Or to do anything violent at all.

All he did was step back, lead me away from the door and open

Come on, sweetheart, use your feet. I can’t pick you up with my neck bleeding.

Something about the way he was acting made me oblige.

I didn’t pull my hand again. I didn’t try to run away as he led me out of the room, into a brightly lit corridor of a huge house. Or

mansion.

I followed him quietly like a little puppy as we passed by rooms, laughter and chatter spilling from a few doors.

My eyes scanned the surroundings.

Everything was sonormal.

It made my head spin.

Blake stopped before a large oakwood door, and pushed it open, gesturing for me to step inside.

I hesitated, glancing at him again.

I won’t harm you, Caitlyn. He sighed. Please. Come on. I need to go see the pack doctor.

Something told me that trying him right now, after I slashed his neck, wasn’t a good idea.

My attack barely slowed him down. And I was clearly in his pack house. A place full of werewolves who practically worshipped him.

I couldn’t escape right now.

I should’ve known this. I should’ve played smarter.

But now I would.

With my heart in my mouth, I stepped inside the bedroom, looking around.

There were windows. There was a door to probably a washroom. No cameras. A bookshelf. A fireplace.

A normal, cosy looking room that didn’t seem to be hiding any secrets. And did not seem like a prison cell.

Blake followed in after me, gently closing the door behind him.

You like it? You can let me know if you want anything changed.

I turned to him, my eyes narrowed. You’re talking like I’m gonna be staying here for a long time.

That’s because you are,he replied.

No,I stated. I’m not. And you know that.

Blake slowly lowered his hand from his neck, and my eyes widened, realising he’d already healed.

He was still covered in blood though, so it didn’t make the sight any less gory.

You can try escaping, Caitlyn. You can try attacking me as many times as you want. You can’t do much harm here, sweetheart. He started to walk towards me, and I backed away, watching his every move. This isn’t The Order’s den. You don’t have me drugged and poisoned with wolfsbane and silver. You can search the entire house; you won’t find a single weapon you can use against me.The back of my knees hit the bed, and I froze. Blake stopped right in front of me, his green eyes boring into mine. This is my house. My town. My pack. You’re not getting out of here unless I want you to. So your best bet is to cooperate with me. I won’t mark you. I won’t assault you. I will not do anything harmful or inappropriate to you. I promise. But please, don’t force me to keep you locked up. Act like a guest, and I’ll treat you like one. Act like a prisoner, and don’t be surprised to find yourself in a cage. Do you understand?

A shiver crawled through me, and my throat burned, vision blurring with tears.

I quickly blinked them back, and looked away from him, gritting my teeth.

Rest now,he said, stepping away. It’s late. I’ll see you tomorrow morning. Hopefully, you’ll have come to your senses by then.

With that, he left the room, closing the door behind him but not bothering to lock it.

Somehow, I felt more suffocated now than I did in that cell.

A choked sob left my lips, and I allowed myself to break down.

There were no cameras watching me anymore.
