Chapter 13
Even though most of the wedding was organized by Samuel, Emma was still exhausted.
After finishing washing up, she lay on the bed in the new house and began to feel nervous about the upcoming wedding night.
After Samuel came out of the bathroom, he looked at Emma lying on the big red bed with a fiery gaze.
Emma had a lot of questions she wanted to ask him, but it was clearly not a good time now.
“Turn off the lights, Emma stuttered.”
“Hmm.”
Samuel left a warm yellow bedside lamp and bent down to kiss his new bride.
The movements on the bed were continuous and undulating.
It was not clear how long had passed when the sound of Emma softly sobbing came through, “No… no more…‘
“Be good… one last time… Samuel whispered, coaxing.”
“Well…okay, Emma was easily persuaded by him.”
Not until dawn was breaking did the movement on the big bed finally come to a halt.
Samuel helped Emma with a simple wash–up before they went to sleep.

On the other side, three people arrived at the wedding venue by private plane and looked at the empty banquet hall.
They knew they were late, so they immediately drove to the Lockwood family.
When the three of them arrived at the Lockwood family’s gate, they were all stopped. The tight security measures prevented them from entering.
The three of them could only return to the car and wait quietly, every minute and every second was so unbearable.
They had never felt time passing so slowly before.
Until daybreak, the Lockwood family remained indoors, with no owners coming out except for the buyers.
While the servant was out shopping, the three of them exchanged glances and followed.

When the car turned the corner, they didn’t stop to buy a car, but had the servant take them inside.
After a period of unfriendly negotiations, the servant led them inside.
Upon entering the Lockwood’s manor, he headed towards the main house.
The servant in charge of purchasing contacted security as soon as he was free, and the alarm sounded throughout the estate.
Emma was kept awake by the sound of the alarm.
He kicked discontentedly at the person hugging himself tightly.

“What’s going on?”
“Someone broke in.”

“You keep sleeping, I’ll go downstairs and take a look.”
After Samuel left, Emma couldn’t fall asleep either.

Seeing the person blocking their way, the three of them had no choice but to stand in place and speak to Emma.
“Emma, you can’t just marry someone on a whim because you’re upset.”
“Come back with us.‘
“I wouldn’t mind if you went with him… came back with us, we can pretend like nothing happened.”
The words of the three made Samuel furious. Just as he was about to say something, he was stopped by Emma raising her hand.
She glanced soothingly at her newlywed husband, then turned her head to look at the three people not far away.
“Isaac, Anthony, Mateo, don’t take yourselves too seriously. Do you think I would just marry anyone out of spite towards you? Don’t you

find it ridiculous?”
“Whether you mind or not, is it important to me? What are you guys, saying such things, it seems that I was too good to you before, to give you this misconception.”
“Are you guys a good match?”
After finishing speaking, he went to have dinner with Samuel. Samuel looked at his wife’s words to the three of them without mercy, with a happy expression on his face.
Waving his hand, he signaled the bodyguard to throw the man out, not wanting to disturb his wife’s appetite.
“Emma…”
The sound gradually faded
away.
