Third Person POV
Vincent was noncommittal, just casually asking: “Tine, no plans to go back for now. Tell them not to waste their time. Besides, I still need to seek medical treatment for you.”
Speaking of seeking medical treatment.
Xander Wentworth also thought of Hazel.
“That little Omega Hazel, I quite like her.” He raised an eyebrow, deliberately saying: “However, I can see she has quite a few admirers.”
Vincent’s smile gradually faded.
Xander Wentworth continued slowly:
“Speaking of which, didn’t that boy Joseph often fight with you when you were kids in Moon City? I never expected him to be much more composed now than when he was young.”
Vincent and Joseph had known each other since childhood, but their relationship was poor.
They fought from a young age.
“Just putting on an act.” Vincent said flatly: “I know exactly what kind of person he is.”
Suddenly his phone vibrated.
He took out his phone and saw the latest news push about Hazel.
He had secretly followed Hazel’s social media account, so any news about Hazel would be pushed to his phone.
When Vincent saw these messages, he frowned.
But when he saw Hazel’s changed signature, he suddenly laughed.
Seeing Vincent laugh like that, Xander Wentworth could roughly guess who it was about. He also shook his head and smiled.
He suddenly felt that having Vincent stay in Moon Shadow City might not be a bad thing.
He still remembered seeing him return three years ago–like someone crawling back from hell, barely half alive, as if half his soul had been left in hell.
This time seeing him in Moon Shadow City, he felt like Vincent was gradually coming back to life.
Sacred Capital Academy.
As Moon Shadow City’s elite high school and a renowned werewolf business school.
Caroline as the school’s promment figure, always attracted many students‘ attention whenever she appeared.
When Caroline saw the overwhelming spéculation about Hazel’s identity online, her face turned white as paper.
caroline, isn’t this Hazel the one from our previous school? How did she suddenly become so famous?”
Exactly, I even heard people say she’s actually Blood Moon Pack’s princess… How is that possible? People actually believe such talk.”
Caroline’s expression was ugly as she said coldly: “How would I know? Who knows how she’s deceiving people.”
That damn bitch! How did she become Blood Moon Pack’s princess?
“It’s not completely baseless though. I always felt Hazel didn’t really resemble her parents… Could she really be a switched princess?” Lisa speculated casually.
But these words triggered Caroline.
Slap!
She slapped Lisa across the face.
Lisa was bewildered by the hit, her face stinging with pain.
“Why did you hit me?” Lisa said tearfully.
Caroline glared at her: “What switched! She’s a fake princess! No one will ever like her! Someone of her lowly status–do you really think she’s a real princess?”
Lisa pursed her lips and said nothing after being scolded.
Betty tried to mediate: “Caroline, Lisa didn’t mean to say that… Someone like Hazel definitely couldn’t be a real princess.”
Caroline threatened coldly: “You two better not let me hear such talk again! Otherwise don’t blame me for being rude!”
After speaking, Caroline turned and walked toward the school gate.
It was dismissal time, with students from the same school coming and going all around.
Lisa looked at Caroline’s retreating figure with dissatisfaction, crying while saying: “What’s she so arrogant about? I even heard people say she’s the fake princess. Wasn’t she thrown out of Blood Moon Pack’s banquet a few days ago?”
At this moment, another girl walked over,/seemingly having heard her words, smiling as she said:
“I don’t know if she’s a fake princess, but I did see her get thrown out. To act like nothing happened after such an embarrassing incident–her skin is pretty thick.”
After the girl finished speaking, she left.
So Silver Moon Pack really was thrown out of Blood Moon Pack’s banquet?
Caroline has four brothers, right? Were they thrown out too?
Chapter 43
Betty whispered advice: “Enough, stop talking… Have you forgotten about Vivienne…”
Mentioning Vivienne. Lisa’s expression also changed.
She certainly knew what happened to Vivienne years ago for opposing Caroline.
It’s just that no one had concrete evidence or the courage to testify about this matter.
