Chapter 21
Hazel’s POV:
The restaurant company behind this place was backed by the Blood Moon Pack–not just anyone could clear the place out like
that!
The girl whose voice I’d sealed wanted to say something, but couldn’t even produce a single syllable. She looked at me with terror and pleading, pointing at her mouth.
I coldly dropped a line: “When you learn to speak like a human being, it will naturally get better.”
With that, I turned and walked away.
As soon as I stepped out, Jack tried to chase after me, pointing at my back and cursing: “Don’t think you’re so great just because you’ve hooked up with a rich guy! Everyone knows what kind of trash you are! You–mmph!”
Jack’s throat was suddenly seized, making even breathing difficult. His toes gradually left the ground.
He stared in terror at the man before him, unable to say a word, only managing fearful monosyllables.
The others were so frightened they didn’t dare make a sound, all backing away.
Vincent had one hand locked around his throat, veins bulging on his arm, the muscle lines beneath his black shirt straining
with explosive tension.
His gaze was cold as a blade, head tilted slightly with a hint of menace: “You wanna say that again?”
Vincent was clearly very displeased.

With a casual flick of his hand, he threw the grown Alpha to the ground like a sack of potatoes!
Jack clutched his throat, gasping for air, looking at him with complete terror.
In that instant, I clearly saw genuine fear of death in his eyes.
Vincent withdrew his hand, and a Beta beside him immediately offered a handkerchief.
He took it and wiped his hands, casually tossing the handkerchief onto Jack’s face before striding toward me with long steps.
I walked to the entrance; Vincent following behind.
“I apologize that Miss Hazel didn’t have a pleasant dining experience tonight.”
I responded flatly: “I should be the one apologizing, since they came for me.”
The corner of his mouth curved slightly: “Shall I drive you home?”
I had already hailed a taxi and shook my head: “No need.”

Chapter 21
Seeing I’d already gotten in the car, he said nothing more.
I opened the car door, and before getting in, I looked back at him, my gaze falling on the hand that had just gripped Jack’s throat.
I smiled and complimented: “Nice strength.”
With that, I got into the car and closed the door..
He put his hands in his pockets, watching my taxi drive away with satisfaction, a faint smile on his face and an imperceptible dark glint in his eyes.
I sat in the back seat, watching Vincent shrink to a black dot in the rearview mirror.
Ordinary werewolves could never possess that kind of strength and explosive power.
Vincent had definitely undergone special training.
I knew werewolves too well–unless they had naturally powerful genes, neither their physical condition nor core explosive power could be like that.
I looked away and closed my eyes to rest.
This high–born Alpha wasn’t just not annoying… he was actually becoming quite attractive.
