Her Soul and His Blood novel Chapter 19

After reading the dairy completely some kind of realization struck into Zella's mind. She finally realized who she is and what responsibilities she have. She held Lance's hand and said "I'm scared". He gave her a comforting smile.

"Dont worry. Im with you."

Zella found some kind of sadness, anger, rage on his eyes which turned blue. His fists were closed tight,he was biting his teeth.

"Are you alright Lance ? Is there any problem ?"

Lance faked a smile " Nothing related to you Zella. My trust with someone is broken."

"I am sorry Lance. I didn't get you. Is Mr.Peterson is the same person we know."

"Yes." His voice was sharp.

"He did a good thing right. You must be happy that he adopted you." Zella smiled.

"But..."

Suddenly they heard a scream from downstairs. It was Mrs.Christi " My son, my son."

Zella ran downstairs and went near her mother, who looked terrific.

"What happened ?"

"Zad is missing... I only got his coat with blood stain and ur necklace drawn with blood.I-am scared Zella.I lost my father due to this necklace and I don't want to lose my son." She started crying.

Zella is shocked to hear this. Lance held her hand, took her to one corner and said

" it must be Hance. We need to find him before he does something to Zad."

Zella went with Lance in search of her brother.

"Are you sure you wanted to come with me. You will be weak like your grandmother said."Lance questioned her.

"I am coming wherever you go. I wanted to find my brother." Her sound was shivering. She loved Zad so much and she don't wanted to hurt her brother during her birthday.

" I know where he will be" said Lance.

He took Zella's hand and went into the dark forest. His veins where engorged due to anger.

He shouted loudly

"Hance" which got echoed in that dark forest.

" look who is in here with his kitten." he looked at Zella "hey beautiful."

" shut up or im going to kill you."

" you are going to kill your own brother. The only blood you have?" Said in a sarcastic tone.

After few hours she opened her eyes to see someone standing infront of her...

She saw her brother tied with a rope and blood dropping from his body. Terror struck on her mind. She is surprised to find herself tied in a cabin or to say a haunted room. She doesn't  know whether to cry or scream. She called out Zad.

"Zad, Zad... look at me Zad. Please open your eyes Zad."

He didn't move a bit. His face is bruised and blood was flowing through his face. He looked weak and terrible.

Her eyes were searching for Lance but she couldn't find him anywhere. She realized that she and her brother is in big horrific danger. She burst into tears.

She heard footstep of someone approaching them.

"Zad,this is me Zella.please open your eyes. Zad, Zad please." Zella choke up.

Zad was losing lots of blood from his body. Zella tried to untie herself but she couldn't. She tried to use her power to unlock her but her power didn't work.

She focused on Zad and tried to untie him and she succeeded in it. Zad fell from the chair to the floor. She saw lots of injuries and blood coming out of his body.

"Zad, please wake up before someone comes."

Suddenly she heard the sound of door opening. She saw a shadow of the man standing near the door. He approached her but she couldn't see him clearly because her eyes were blurring. She used her power to release Zad and now she is feeling dizzy.

That person came near her. Due to the blurriness, she was not able to identify the man. He was saying something which is not clear. He slapped on her face and she collapsed into the floor.
