Clara decided to tell Aidan about Cassandra’s action. Cassandra shouldn’t dream of leaving the company with the cash from her stocks! 

She glanced at the dining room, only to find Russell missing. He must have gone home. 

Smirking, she assumed that Cassandra must have upset Russell. The deal had soured. She’d enjoy watching Cassandra deal with the fallout. 

She grabbed her phone and immediately called Aidan to complain about Cassandra. 

Tristan and Cassandra went home. Once they were home, he took the burn aid cream and applied it to her wound. She thought the burn wasn’t a big deal, but she was moved to see him treating her with so much care. 

Soon, Liam showed up with Russell’s signed contract. Cassandra was delighted–the matter had been resolved once and for all! 

Russell looked like he wanted to give her a tough time. Surprisingly, Tristan managed to settle the issue with one phone call. He was the head of Freeman Group for a good reason! 

She stole a glance at him, and her heart beat faster. After Tristan returned, he made a glass of warm milk for Cassandra. 

“Have some milk. It’ll help you sleep better.” 

She had the habit of drinking milk before going to bed, but she hadn’t done that ever since she moved over to his place. She was surprised to see that it was her favorite brand of milk. How did Tristan find out? 

She felt touched but stopped herself from overthinking, fearing she might have misinterpreted his actions. She brushed it off as Tristan just so happened to like the same brand of milk.
