Falling For My Contractual Wife (Brian and Grace) novel Chapter 834

Zachary looked at Serena and did not say anything. Margaret smiled politely and asked, "Are you leaving already? Why haven't you changed your clothes?"

Serena said, "There's no need to change. It'll dry in a while. It's fine."

Margaret asked, "Why don't you wait for Justin to come back before you leave?"

Of course, Serena could tell that Margaret was only saying out to be polite. The whole family was pretty much the same, but Margaret liked to pretend, while the others didn't even bother.

She said, "That's okay, he'll be in surgery for hours. I'm afraid I would have to wait until tomorrow morning."

"Alright, then I won't keep you."

Serena nodded slightly. "Zachary, Margaret, Merry Christmas. Goodbye."

She picked up her bag and headed out the door.

At this moment, a sharp voice sounded. "Stop!"

Serena turned around and looked at Sharon in confusion. "Miss Vance, is there anything else?"

Sharon stood up from the sofa and walked towards her. She looked at her disdainfully. "You're in a hurry to leave the moment you come down. Did you steal something from me?"

Serena said, "Miss Vance, you can't accuse me falsely."

Sharon stood in front of her. "When I asked you to change into my clothes just now, you pretended to be noble and refused. Then, you said that you wanted to use my bathroom. Once you went in, you didn't come out for a long time. I have reason to suspect that you stole my things."

Zachary frowned and said in a deep voice, "Sharon, don't mess around here!"

Sharon turned to look at him. "Dad, how am I fooling around? Can't we just search her body?

Serena felt that this was simply a humiliation to her.

She said, "Miss Vance, I'm not that kind of person! If you find out that I didn't take your things, would you apologize to me?"

Sharon raised her chin and looked at her arrogantly. "Of course!"
