At the dinner table, Iris was eating the food Aedan made, looking surprised, “Aren’t your hands supposed to be for treating patients. doing surgeries, working in the lab, and writing on the blackboard for us?”
Aedan smiled and quietly put some food in her bowl, “A lot of times, if you don’t like what others do, just do it yourself”
“Yeah, do it yourself and you’ll have everything you need!” Nathaniel agreed wholeheartedly
Danica ate like crazy and didn’t care about table manners at all.
She put food in her mouth and gave a thumbs up while asking “Why are all the good qualities of a man in one person?”
Did anyone teach her which direction to pray in so she could be loved by a man as gentle, warm, caring, and talented as Aedan?
“What’s up, Everett still not acting like a decent person?” Nathaniel looked at Danica and asked.
Danica rolled her eyes at him, “Can you just eat and not talk about such disgusting people and things?”
Nathaniel, “…”
“Serves you right. When you wanted to do something big, why didn’t you talk it over with me and Ira?” Nathaniel complained while putting food on her plate.
A rectangular dining table, he and Danica sat on one side.
Iris and Acdan sat on the other side.
Danica glanced sideways at Nathaniel again, “Can you not bring it up? If you keep talking about it, do you want me to regret it to death?
Nathaniel, “…!
Iris also picked some food for Danica, “Have you not been eating well lately? You’ve lost a lot of weight.”
“She wasn’t skipping meals, she was just being squeezed by Everett.” Nathaniel added.
Danica glanced at him again, “.
The four of us had this meal easily and happily, and the first dish on the table was all gone–there wasn’t even a single leaf left.
After eating, Danica patted her full belly and said with great satisfaction, “I feel like I could eat another whole table.”
Iris smiled, “Yeah, I’ll make it for you again tomorrow night.”
“Baby, you spoiled me the most.”
Danica rushed over and gave her a big bear hug, “I really wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.”
“What are you thinking!” Nathaniel came over and pulled her away. “Watch out, Prof. Steele might hit you.”
Aedan heard that and smiled, “Iris and I weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend yet.”
Nathaniel widened his eyes, “Oh, isn’t it?”
But the two of them were so in sync, it looked like they were a couple.
