Chapter42
Bending down to take out slippers from the shoe cabinet, just as
I straightened my body, my forehead bumped into the hanging
cabinet.
Terrence’s face turned pale, and he shouted, “Bethany?”
No response.
The villa was cold and lifeless.
Terrence irritably changed into slippers and pushed open the bedroom door.
The quilt was neatly folded, and the room was empty.
Terrence gripped the doorknob, exerting more force, with veins slightly bulging on the back of his hand and knuckles turning white.
He closed the door, changed his shoes, and left the villa.
Bethany finished cutting all the shapes around 8 o’clock in the evening. Some were stuck on the windows, while others were stuck on the cabinets.
Chapter42
She personally delivered it to Presley.
Presley looked very satisfied and praised Bethany’s work as
very spirited.
Presley felt that it was a bit wasteful to stick it on the window, it
should be framed and hung on the wall.
Bethany smiled and said that she could cut bas–relief shapes to
frame and hang on the wall.
Presley instantly became interested and chatted with Bethany
for a long time. She even wanted Bethany to help her with some
things to hang on the wall.
This old craft is still loved by some people, and Bethany is naturally willing.
When she left, it was already late. Presley asked Julio to
accompany her.
Terrence arrived at Bethany’s room, the luggage was still there,
but no one was seen. He lit a cigarette and leaned on the
balcony, his gaze casually falling on the hotel entrance.
Finally, it came to a halt…
Bethany got out of Julio’s car.

Chapter42
After Julio got off the car, he put his hands in the pockets of hist
overcoat, with a gentle expression between his eyebrows, and
watched Bethany walk inside.
Bethany had just taken a few steps.
“Dummy.”
Julio called her.
Bethany turned around.
Julio’s lips moved, and the words on the edge of his lips changed
to two words: “Goodnight.”
Bethany smiled and made a sign for goodnight.
Julio stood still, staring as Bethany walked away.
Terrence snapped the cigarette between his fingertips.
Fell to the ground.
The cigarette butt splashed fireworks.
He turned off the lights in the room.
Ding-
Bethany entered the password and the door opened.
Chapter42
She hadn’t even had time to turn on the lights when she was
already pulled in by a pair of strong hands, pressed against the
doorway, sealing her lips.
The enthusiasm surging inside me suddenly cooled down.
He extended his long arm and turned on the light in the room.
Bethany instinctively covered her chest, her tear–filled almond eyes filled with sorrow as she gazed at Terrence.

She was a mess, while he, except for a few wrinkles on his suit
jacket, still appeared self–righteous.
But in those deep black eyes, there was a burning anger.
The moisture in Bethany’s eyes was about to wet her long
eyelashes, silently revealing deep resentment.
After a while, Terrence spoke in a faint voice, “What, can’t I touch you now?”
He spent the night with Krista.
Lonely man and woman, who knows what they did.
And she was getting a divorce, how could she possibly have
those intimate moments with him.
All the buttons on her blouse were torn off by him.
She was in a mess, staring at Terrence indifferently, gesturing
angrily, “I said, I want to divorce you!”
Terrence coldly stared at her, a hint of disdain curling his lips,
“Do not challenge my patience.”
His voice was not loud, but extremely threatening.
Bethany curved her lips, a smile tinged with a hint of

etherealness.
Terrence’s brows furrowed.
At that moment, Bethany’s phone rang. She took out her phone
and it was Eliza calling.
