Dominic slipped his arms around Vespera's waist from behind. Fresh from the shower, his skin was still warm, and he smelled of clean soap. The combination was dizzying.

"You can get dressed yourself," stammered Vespera, struggling to pry his hands off her waist. She needed to get out of this room fast. Her willpower was hanging by a thread.

How could Dominic let her go when her earlobes were turning pink? She looked adorable. He leaned in, his breath against her ear, and said, like a devil tempting her in broad daylight, "I just want to see how you look buttoning a shirt for me."

And with that, Dominic bit Vespera's earlobe, which made her knees buckle. A gasp escaped her lips before she could stop it. The moment she heard herself, she felt like she was going insane. She was here to wake him up. She wasn't here to get dragged into whatever this was!

Vespera struggled to say, "Stop it. Mr. Chandler had already set the table. If we don't go out soon, they'll start imagining things."

Completely unfazed, Dominic replied, "Let them imagine."

As far as he was concerned, breakfast was nothing compared to what was standing right in front of him. After thoroughly savoring Vespera's ear, he turned her around and kissed her.

Vespera shouted internally, "My lipstick!"

Panic set in, but how could she resist a kiss from a man fresh out of the shower and half-dressed with muscles on full display? It was too challenging.

Nonetheless, Vespera had to stop the situation from escalating. She planted a hand against Dominic's chest and said while panting, "Are you trying to get dressed or undress me?"

Dominic's hand slid along her waist as he answered, "They aren't mutually exclusive."

Vespera was speechless. What was Dominic on about?
