Noah tore his eyes away from Nathan and fixed them on Sadie,

hose face was still considerably pale.

He reached out and grasped her wrist without a word. With a slight tug, he pulled her away from the passenger seat,

yanked the door to the back seat open, then practically shoved her inside before getting in himself.

His movements were quick and smooth, his demeanor commanding and resolute.

Sadie was caught in a daze.

By the time she realized what had happened, she was already sitting next to an intimidating Noah.

In the driver’s seat, Nathan glanced at them through the rearview mirror. He let out a resigned sigh, then started the car.

There is no guarantee that the projects will be executed smoothly and without mistakes. A failure in one operation can lead to a chain reaction, and when that happens, who will take responsibility? Naturally, Jarrett will be

Sadie finally understood.
