Noelle had underestimated how shameless Wyatt could be. Had he been this shameless in her past life? Then again, Noelle hadn't interacted with him much then.
But Xenia was already with Justin and was desperately trying to marry into the Parham family. There had been no mention of any connection between Wyatt and Xenia.
Wyatt cursed. "Noelle, I'm still your brother! Why are you making such a fuss about paying for a meal?!"
"Do you think you're worthy of my money?" Noelle had no interest in wasting more time here. She turned and walked out of the private dining room.
Behind her, she heard Wyatt yelling at Lucas, demanding that he cover the bill, bringing up how he used to give Lucas allowance when they were kids and claiming it was time to pay him back.
Noelle couldn't help but laugh. She hadn't expected Wyatt to be this shameless. But she had her fill of amusement at Xenia's expense today.
Noelle was curious if Donovan would still tolerate Xenia and preach about family bonds and how blood was thicker than water after today's stunt. Honestly, she was looking forward to it.
As she reached the entrance of L Bistro, Noelle glanced up at the window of the private room where she and Cedric had dined last time. Back then, they had stood by that very window and kissed.
Just as she was lost in thought, a convoy of luxury cars pulled up by the roadside. Noelle was stunned. It seemed someone important was coming here to dine.
She instinctively shifted to the side. But before she could step away, a group of uniformed bodyguards exited the vehicles and walked directly toward her.
Surprise crossed her eyes. What was going on?
The bodyguards stood around her and spoke in unison, "Ms. Liddell, please get in the car."
Noelle's heart skipped a beat. "Did you get the wrong person?"
The men continued, "Ms. Liddell, Mrs. Greene specifically sent us to pick you up."
