My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 2535

"Master Calcraft, Clint, take a look at this cup of tea."

"What about the tea?" Clint asked, puzzled.

Casimir placed the teacup back on the table.

"What's the purpose of this cup of tea? It exists to be picked, steeped, and tasted, yet the tea itself is just a bitter, flavorless leaf. What must be done to transform it into a good cup of tea?

"The tea leaves need to be of good quality, and the one brewing the tea must be skilled. The water temperature matters, as does the steeping time. Some of this is innate, while other aspects are not."

Casimir slowly turned his head toward Nash and continued in a calm voice, "Nash, how have you felt about obtaining Amulet Glory?"

Nash thought for a moment before replying with uncertainty, "My journey has been pretty smooth?"

"And?"

"Also, my strength has improved quickly…"

"And?"

"I can't think of anything else…"

At that moment, Casimir pointed to Nash's heart and asked seriously, "How much of this growth do you genuinely feel?"

Nash felt confused. "What do you mean by… genuine?"

Casimir explained slowly, "Each time your cultivation improves, what kind of changes does your body undergo?"

"Well…"

"You've noticed, haven't you? All this time, your skills and abilities have existed in an extremely ethereal realm. Am I wrong?"

"But I can use my abilities. Isn't that real?"

Casimir glanced at the ceiling, not rushing to answer Nash's question. Instead, he abruptly asked, "Master Calcraft, how many women do you have?"

Nash paused, surprised that Casimir would ask such a question. Nonetheless, he replied, "Five…"

Both men were taken aback, and Nash asked in surprise, "What do you mean by that?"

Casimir pointed to the ground.

"I can help you regain the strength you've missed out on attaining over the years. However, there will be a cost. I don't know if you're willing to give it a try."

Nash and Clint hesitated.

Clint leaned forward, cautiously asking, "The cost… What does that refer to?"

"You might very well lose something, whether abstract or concrete. I'll only ask once—are you willing to try?"

As soon as he spoke, the room fell into an endless silence.

The two men did not rush to answer Casimir, planning instead to consider their options for a couple of days at Hydra Hill.

Casimir, being patient, decided to let them take their time.
