My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 2512

Philemon and Maxim were still locked in an intense battle. However, both of them seemed to be merely trying to buy time. Maxim already knew Thresmund had successfully absorbed the power from one arena. All that was left was the last arena.

Philemon was also waiting, waiting for an opportunity. They continued to exchange blows, each punch reminiscent of a primal struggle between two wild beasts. The power behind their strikes was lethal, leaving horrifying marks on their surroundings.

As the world around them became more battered, both fighters started to grow impatient. Neither could break through the other's defenses. If they continued like this, they would end up exhausting themselves first.

“You old bastard! Just what are you made of? Can’t you die already?” Philemon exclaimed, furious.

Maxim shot back, “You punk! How dare you say that to me?!”

Philemon chuckled. "Alright, old man. I won’t beat about the bush anymore. Master!”

With that, a massive golden bell enveloped Maxim.

Maxim was initially calm since he could rely on the power of the anti-magic stone to break through. When he threw his punch, however, the seal did not budge.

“What... How is this possible?!”

"Surprised, old man?” Philemon laughed heartily.

Maxim continued to strike the seal relentlessly, but it was unaffected.

“This... How is this possible?”

“Why can’t it be possible?” Philemon exclaimed triumphantly. “Have you forgotten what the Great Elder said when we divided the anti-magic stone?”

Huntley was aware of this, which was why he asked how far they needed to go.

Nash stepped closer to them. “Everyone, I promise you, if you don't approach and take one step back, I won’t hold you responsible for anything. But if you advance even a single step, it'll mean you're officially challenging me. Now, make your choice.”

The three remained still, not daring to move closer to Nash. Just then, Dunbar from the Skyearth Clan stepped forward. “Sir, we have no grudge against you. Why seek us out?”

“I feel the same way,” Nash replied coldly. “I have no grievances against you. As long as you don't advance, I won't make things difficult for you. Think carefully about whether you value Maxim's sweet words more than your own lives.”

It was clear that the heads of the three families were genuinely frightened. They knew they could not afford to provoke Nash. However, the situation had them in a dilemma.

Dunbar could tell that Nash was incredibly strong but still not at Maxim's level.
