Dusky looked at Clint and said nothing as he turned to leave.
At this moment, an old man suddenly walked out in front of Dusky.
Dusky ignored the old man and carried on walking.
The old man said, "You're so different from him."
Dusky stopped.
"That guy is just one of my many fragments. Of course, he's incomparable to my actual body."
"No, thatβs not what I mean." The old man continued, "On the contrary, I like your old fragment more."
"Who cares if you like it or not."
"You know, maybe that fragment is not as powerful as you at all, so it has something that you don't have."
"What?"
"Humanity."
"Are you sure?"
The old man nodded and said, "Yes, I'm pretty sure that the more powerful you are, the more afraid you are of losing your power. You may have given up on a lot of things to reach this point."
Dusky started to become impatient and scowled. "Are you trying to lecture me? Logically speaking, you should call me 'Master'."
"Alright, sir."

Three days later, Nash came to the Meltons' estate again. This time, he saw Reggie chatting with an old man.
The old manβs presence was filled with an immortal aura. His behavior and speech were solemn, but the wrinkles around the corners of his eyes looked warm and friendly. He wore a dark coat and held a whisk in his hand.
Upon closer look, the old man appeared refreshed and energetic, like a living terrestrial immortal.
Nash walked up to the two elders.
