Dusky then gave Clint a gentle push toward the hospital bed while leading Deluca out of the ward with him. It was the siblings' first reunion in nearly 20 years.

Clint stood there, uneasy and unable to meet his sister's gaze.

“Delly called you 'Uncle' just now, so it really is you, Clint,” Nora said softly.

Clint jerked his head up, looking at his sister. Everything about her was both familiar and not. The sister he remembered, the bright and gentle girl from his memories, had changed over the years. Yet, he could still recognize her through her eyes and expression—this was his sister.

Clint slowly went up to her side. In that moment, this long overdue reunion rendered all his preparations unnecessary.

He smiled, his eyes brimming with tears, sparkling like stars in the sunlight. It was as if they were children again.

Nora gently stroked Clint's head, the sunlight filtering through her long hair. It was warm and comforting.

Deluca nodded obediently. "Okay, I'll listen to whatever you say, Master."

Dusky took Deluca's hand, and they made their way back to the Melton family's estate. Though Dusky appeared calm, he still felt a sense of unease within him.

As Dusky pondered, he realized that if it was indeed the Florentine family's abilities that had saved Nora, then the one who performed the technique might now be suffering immensely. That person could also be a potential candidate.

However, Dusky could not draw any conclusions just yet—he needed to meet Ronan in person to understand the situation better.
