I smiled and responded, "Yes, she just happened to be free today, so she brought me lunch. Would you like to have lunch with me?"

Linda shook her head and raised the lunch box in her hand, "I've got my own lunch."

It seemed that she was going to heat it up using the microwave in the pantry.

When I entered Sebastian's office, he was still busy. He didn't look up as I came in, and hence thought I was bringing him documents. He uttered, "Leave the documents here."

Seeing that the milk cup on the table was empty, I was a little surprised. "I thought you wouldn't drink it!"

"Lunch!" I answered. I walked to the table and sat down. "My friend made it by herself, so it must taste good. I also brought you some. Would you try some?"

He got up, walked over to me, and said, "Naomi made this?"

It was a little unexpected, "You could guess it was her?"

He laughed. "You don't have many friends here, and there aren't many people who would cook for you. So, it is most likely her."

Well, that was quite a reasonable explanation.

I stared blankly for a moment, and took out the food. Then I handed the gastric medicine to him and reminded him, "Take this. Remember to eat it later when you have a gastric attack."

I raised my eyes to look at him, slightly stunned. Then I said, "Are you arranging for me to work on it? Is there anything I need to do?"

Upon hearing this, he smiled faintly and appeared to be rather cheerful. "You shall take over this project!"

I frowned and looked at him with some confusion. "But, I just joined the company. Firstly, I am only your secretary. My work is to take care of your affairs and arrange your documents. Following up with the case of Roberts Group is a project director's job. Secondly, even if you insist on letting me take over the project, my ability is the first thing to consider.
