My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 802

"I came with Hendrix!" My eyes were still on the lady beside him. I didn't inquire further but only said, "Here to relax, or..."

He smiled and replied, "To relax. I heard that you let Anne and Josiah go to Hanlusia City. I remembered telling you Monique doesn't wish for Anne to return to the Saunders family."

I nodded and said, "I know, but there are some things that we can't control. Moreover, Josiah is just bringing her to Hanlusia City for a trip, not to return to the Saunders family."

He sneered, his expression somewhat cold, "Arianna, you're too naive. Josiah is virtuous, but it doesn't mean that the entire Saunders family is. There are plenty of vicious people around him. Letting Anne go to Hanlusia City isn't as good a decision as you thought."

I was taken aback. I had a gut feeling that he knew something. Looking at him, I asked, "Is there something you know about?"

He grinned and circled his arm around the prostitute standing next to him, saying, "I don't know, it's just my intuition. By the way, Arianna, it seems like we've grown further apart."

"Ian, I don't understand what you mean!" His sudden change of attitude made me feel a little strange.

He smiled and didn't say anything else. Instead, he raised his hand and pointed slyly behind me, saying, "Why don't you go and check on your man, some vixen might be pestering him."

I frowned. When I looked back, I noticed that Hendrix's car had already arrived. It was parked at the entrance of the Emperor Club.

He was blocked by a woman at the door; it seems that she was hitting on him.

I glanced at Ian. Hesitantly, I said, "Ian, let's have a meal together sometime."

He raised his brows. With a particularly seductive motion, he took the half-smoked cigarette from the lady next to him and put it in his mouth, then looked at me and said, "Sure, you set the time."

As she spoke these words, Rowane pulled down her already revealing clothes below her shoulders. I could already see most of her smooth, bare back from my angle.

It wasn't hard to imagine what Hendrix could see from his perspective.

Most of the people in the nightclub were here to seek pleasure. When they saw such a scene, even just a glimpse, some complimented Rowane's figure and beauty while others cast her dirty looks.

Hendrix was a gentleman. He looked at her coldly and gritted his teeth, saying, "Have some self-respect!"

It was obvious that he wasn't willing to listen to her spouting crap. Most likely thinking of leaving soon, he lifted his eyes to look everywhere, in search of me.
