My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 761

Hendrix nodded. "It's up to you. I'm fine with whatever you decide."

We had quite a sizable yard. The front yard was filled with beautiful plants; plants that would be changed every season. We were still in the midst of deciding which flora to use to bedeck our backyard.

When Hendrix saw me zoning out, he took some food for me and said, "Stop zoning out when you eat. You're just like a child."

Anne giggled, "Mommy is a big child, and I am a small child. It is going to be tough for Mr. Roberts to take care of two children."

My face immediately burned crimson. I secretly glanced at Hendrix and cursed him internally for doing this on purpose.

He smiled and replied, "Yes! Your mother will always be my child."

Anne giggled as she fixed her gaze and me and then at Hendrix. Then she asked, "Are you my father? My classmates tell me that their parents live together. My mom and Mr. Roberts share the same bedroom, so are you two my parents?"

How innocent and simple were children.

My body stiffened slightly, and I looked at Hendrix.

Hendrix put some food on Anne's plate and asked, "Would you like me to be your father?"

Anne looked slightly dazed, but she still nodded seriously, "Yes."

After thinking for a while, Anne said, "Are you my biological father?"

Hendrix nodded and said gently, "I've always been your father since you were little. However, I was not mature enough, so your mommy got angry and left, which is why you and Mommy lived in Hovell for many years. You both are finally home."

Anne paused in thought and then nodded. "Then why didn't you come and look for us?"

Children always had odd questions to ask. I gave her some food and said, "Anne, enough questions. Did you forget what I taught you? Don't talk when you're eating or sleeping. It's rude."

"Do it later!" He pressed on.

Before I could respond, he had already swept me off my feet, and placed me on the bed.

I was stuck in a daze for a moment as I felt this familiar sense of aggression and restraint from Hendrix.

His breathing stopped and he asked, "How are you zoning out now? I think you're not satisfied with my performance."

"No... mm!" He interjected me with a kiss on the lips.

Defeated by my own surging lust, I just let things go with the flow.

Hendrix swallowed me alive that night. If I had not cried and begged for rest during the later half of the night, I would not have been able to get any shut-eye for the entire night.
