My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 756

The car stopped at the entrance of the Southrea Villas. I looked sideways at her and saw that her eyes had turned crimson. She was trying hard to keep her emotions in check after her outburst.

"Do you need to go down and take a walk?"

She pressed her lips together and said coldly, "Arianna, what do you want?"

"I want you to give up!" I raised my voice at her, thinking about what Nerissa said; that Andrea could have her way with Hendrix for all these years because I was too weak, and not vicious enough.

Since I started it, there was no need to stop now.

She looked at me and sneered, "Do you think that's possible?"

I raised my eyebrows, "You wouldn't know until you tried."

She sneered in disdain.

I got out of the car and looked up at the villa. The flowers and plants planted in the yard had all withered.

"We lived in this house when Hendrix and I first moved to Jarold City. I wanted to take you to the villa in Ucrebury to have a look, but I don't think it was necessary. After all, you knew that Hendrix bought villas that had the same interior design."

"So what?" She sneered, "Do you think you could make me give up by showing me this?"

I shrugged and stopped talking. I lowered my head and unlocked the villa door with the fingerprint recognition system.

I looked back at her and said softly, "Even though I never really looked into this villa's system in detail, as long as it's our place, only me and Hendrix's fingerprints will be in the system. He said that this is our house."

She bit her lip slightly and did not answer.

I smiled faintly and said, "I was curious about this too. When I asked him, he explained that he'd get headaches from work, and if he directly got out of the car and entered the house straightaway, he might bring his negative emotions into the house and to me. Thus, this path reminded him that the one waiting for him at home was his warm and loving wife. Therefore, the pathway was meant to calm his emotions."

She pursed her lips, and I knew that she was now in a foul mood. However, since she still stuck around with seemingly no intention to leave, it meant that she still had not given up on Hendrix.

This was an obsession.

Fingerprint access was needed for the living room door. I put my thumb on the door and opened it. Though no one lived here, someone would come occasionally to keep the villa clean and in a pristine condition.

"Come to think of it. You've been to this villa a couple of times, haven't you?" I looked back at her with a faint smile. "Do you still remember the interior decoration styles Hendrix used to fancy?"
