My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 742

The place Freya decided on was at the city center -a hotel she owned.

As usual, there was a surge of people in the city center. She found a good spot on the second floor and asked for a bottle of red wine.

She seemed to have been there for a long time. When she saw me, she waved me over. "Here!"

I sat in front of her and snatched the bottle of red wine from her hand. I called for a waiter and said, "Please give me a glass of warm milk."

"Drinking milk in a nightclub, and a warm one. Arianna, you've got to be kidding." She smiled and narrowed her eyes, looking a little bitter.

The waiter knew who she was, so he nodded and went out.

Freya looked at the girl dancing on the stage and said, "Arianna, I'm not happy."

When she uttered these words, my heart instantly ached.

I took a sip of red wine and observed her, "Is it Zachary or your mother-in-law?"

She started venting only a few days after getting married. It must be one or the other; nothing else could have affected her like this.

She rubbed her chin and squinted her eyes. She looked enchanting as she said, "Do you know any parents who would want to live with their son after he gets married?"

I said frankly, "Hendrix and I don't have parents. Master Roberts is barely present in our marriage, so I can't give you an answer."

She giggled sarcastically. "Sure enough, there is no way to live a happy life. If I knew this earlier, I wouldn't have gotten married."

Pregnant women often had mood swings. After thinking about it, I said, "Maybe they just want to be around to take care of you. After all, you are pregnant and need to be taken care of."

She sneered. "Hmph, I don't talk about it anymore."

The waiter brought over the glass of milk. She frowned and moved the milk aside, not wanting to drink it.

"How about some juice?" Pregnant women nauseated easily. She must be rather repulsed by the smell of milk.

Freya shrugged, "So, the sibling connection thing does work."

I took a closer look at the girl sitting next to him. She was dressed rather provocatively. She looked familiar, but I just couldn't put a finger on who.

After taking a closer look, I realized that it was Eunice. I frowned. Why was this woman still pestering Aaron?

Noticing my knitted brows, Freya said, "A playboy like Aaron will constantly have women by his side. Don't worry. He'll find someone else once

he's bored of her."

I couldn't be bothered about Aaron and Eunice; it was Yana I was worried about. She had just given birth to a baby, and she was still in confinement. When I went to see her, she looked terribly frail and scrawny.

I was sure she knew all about Aaron.

When I got up, Freya stopped me, "Arianna, what do you plan on doing? If he doesn't want to take care of his family, even if you kill him and place his dead body before Yana, his spirit will still be out engaging in debauchery. Just let him be."
